In a surprising twist at the end of a long trial, a District of Columbia judge found Mark Witaschek guilty of "attempted possession of unlawful ammunition" for antique replica muzzleloader bullets.

Judge Robert Morin sentenced Mr. Witaschek to time served, a $50 fine and required him to enroll with the Metropolitan Police Department's firearm offenders' registry within 48 hours.

Know you can't drink while conceal carrying right? Least that's how it is in NC, we allowed conceal carry in bars last November.

Course you can drink and open carry, but you can't open carry in a bar here.

Pretty sure in NC, only conceal carry has any stipulations about BAC (0.00%).

Edit: I think you can OC in NC so long as you BAC is below 0.08% (or whatever the fuck is the legal limit these days)

I don't understand. It's just not possible that laws intended to increase public safety could be used by those in power to selectively persecute those with whom they disagree. That never happens. The government is wise, and totally impartial. I learned that in school. Didn't you go to school?
