Ok i ligetimetely lawled at that. thanks korum! Aside I would say our treatment of them once they were "civilized" was kinda bullshit, with the forced separation of families, sterilization, genital mutilation and destruction of cultural practices and beliefs in the boarding schools akin to the English towards the Irish.

Sure, it sucks to be a stone-age simpleton when FUCKYEAH needs to build a railroad through your buffalo hunting grounds. Sure, it must've sucked not knowing how smallpox was transmitted by those infected blankets that the Iroquois bought to distribute amongst their enemies. Yeah it must've sucked that your millenia-long reign of beheading millions of prisoners on your ziggurats and playing soccer with their heads was put to an abrupt end by a boatload of spaniards.

But we HAVE outcomes of indigenous Americans and south asians who haven't benefitted from colonial uplifting. We HAVE the average life expectancies, infant mortality, literacy rates, health outcomes for tribes in the Amazon and cannibal cargo cults in New Guinea.

Do you imagine some Comanche drawing a tribal stipend from the casinos on their lands would like to swap places with them?

Considering how much improved the lives of Amerindians are compared to the lives of pristine indigenous cultures who were spared the touch of colonialism, if you should feel ANY GUILT AT ALL it should be because you're not on a three-masted galleon sailing to bring the light of God and King to the heathens.

Considering the ACTUAL historical outcomes of colonialism, if there's any reason for guilt, it should be that there are still Indian mothers in the Amazon who see four out of five of their kids die before their first year. If you're gonna be guilty about anything it's the fact that you can read this on a supercomputer in your pocket while some New Guinean spends 45% of their daily caloric intake hunting or gathering for the remaining 55%.

They're fine, least when I got off the phone with them earlier. They made Ceebu Yapp for dinner and it made me hungry. Working on the holiday like a boss.

i was just fuckin with ya, but that actually does look pretty good. getting sick of the same food all the time. not too many Senegalese restaurants around here and i wouldnt trust the local black people to have a clue what real africans are cooking so the likelihood of me ever seeing that dish is pretty much zero.

well you could try Husk the next time your in South Carolina for your Klan continuing education classes. Alot of his food is based around Senegalese cuisine brought to the carolinas.

Ya, I agree that white man hate/turkey day/Columbus Day criticisms are hollow, least of all 'cause it's in the past and at some point you have to move on. Same goes for slavery.
