Yeah, dialogue actually felt realistic, which is uncommon for movies about teenagers.

Also liked that the love interest turned out to be some asshole that she was projecting onto, which sounds about right, and that the most responsible/strong character in the movie was her brother and he got to be completely normal.

Adding my agreement regarding Edge of Seventeen...good coming of age story. I had low expectations going in, but the realism in the script won me over.
