That deal on the HE-560's is great, but no way would I replace the hd650s with them. I guess if you need a low drive solution the HE-560's would sound better...with right amplification though HD650s are tough to beat for any headphone. If I was going out of a ipod/phone though...yea probably would take the HE-560's

Right, so it should have no problems driving high impedance headphones. My Beyerdynamic DT 770's are 250 ohm and the volume pot is only set to 10 AM.

Plugged the HD800's into the Magni. The volume knob is maxxed out, and the headphones are about halfway "loud" at what I would say the WA6 amp would have them at like 10am. Plus the bass is all crap now.

The HD700's. 300ohms also. Plug them into the Magni, dial at noonish...they sound fuckin great! Same with the HD650's at 300 ohms. They sound great.

So if I was going to be honest. Yes the Schiit stack is fantastic for driving anything 300 ohms or under. EXCEPT these HD800's and I don't know why. I'm just not that technical to know what the HD800 is looking for as far as power goes.

Which stack are you guys referring to? I like that Fulla 2 but I have a mixamp, I wonder how much better it is.

Heh. I has the exact same experience with my HD650's a few years back. Headphones right into the audio port of my PC. Sounded like shit. Then I added a little CMOY amp was in shock how big a difference that made.

Grats on that setup Kais!

Snagged a pair of HD58x Jubilees off of massdrop for $150. Seems like they're reviewing well, and for $150 why the hell not. Will report back

Review: Best $150 headphones ever made!? Sound is excellent, and every bit as good as 650s. No sound complaints. Uch cheaper materials though and build quality not amazing, though makes headphones really light. Great purchase

Edit: Canceled these to do some more research...

Hope I don't regret it, but I just picked these up. On sale from $150 down to $100, and then used some Hilton hotel reward points to bring it down further. My Sennheiser Game One's are fantastic, but I'm sick of rolling over the cord.

I love my dt770 but man I miss havinga wireless headset
From a little research, what I'm finding is that no one likes any of the wireless headsets. LOL!

The percentage of 5 star reviews is abysmal , like sub 40%, and most apparently don't sound that great. The price we pay for wireless convenience I guess?

Then you look at bluetooth headphones with a built in mic, and there's a bunch of those, many with thousands of reviews, but all seem to be trying to emulate Beats headphones in look, where all are pretty much on-ear, vs over-ear? It's kinda dumb.

Might just use some more hotel points, and get the Logitech G933's and try them out for a week?

I had one of the Logitech wireless sets years ago, don't remember which. I got rid of them because to heavy and always have me a headache from too much pressure they clamped so hard. Wires are definitely an annoyance I would rather do without but the headsets are always so heavy

Aren't some of the more expensive Astros wireless with decent sound quality? With wireless you'll have to balance the convenience against cost and bulk

Yea, the ASTROS A40's are still a thing, but they are $250 or something like that. Out of my price range right now.

I hear ya. I've been eyeing them but can't really justify the price.

I still use my hyperx clouds and they're my favorite headset of all time. Even linus said they were amazing at the price point.

I was eyeing some Bose qc25 or 35 or whatever is $350 and Bluetooth and then work fucked me and put me in a classified closed area all day (no phones, no media, no wireless headphones)

I can't do the vinyl or faux leather ear cups as I'll start sweating. Although I haven't tried since moving to the Pacific NW from Arizona where it's substantially cooler all the time. Hmm...

Then again, I'm sure you could switch them out as well.

So what are some good, cheap true wireless bluetooth earbuds? I was looking at these 3 via Amazon rating (all quite cheap):

Amazon product ASIN B07GWWQK76
Amazon product ASIN B07FPG94RP
Anyone have knowledge on this shit? I use them 100% just for the gym and running.
Don't drop them, hell don't even look at them funny. My wife and I broke 2 pairs of similar earbuds carrying them around in backpacks. Granted this is taobao trash but I'm guessing these off brand Amazon offerings aren't much better.
