You know it just comes down to th fact I started dealing with this around 14. It's just kind of my life and it's what I know. I imagine if I were an adult when it all kicked in I would have a pretty difficult time. I'm still able to do pretty much everything I love doing and have an excuse for not doing shit I can't stand. Lol
When things calm down I may take you up on that drink. I don't do beer but I enjoy a good Goldschlager/Cinnamon Whiskey on the rocks or some pussy ass Parot Bay and Root Beer/Dr. Pepper.

So in other news I went and renewed my medical pot card today. Last year when I went I needed several months worth of medical records. This time? NONE. I had them with me. They never asked for them. They never looked to confirm anything I wrote on the form was true. So if your in MA and want to get high legally just go to CannaCare and write whatever the fuck you want on the papers, pay your $250 ($200 for the doc visit then $50 to register online for your card with the state), and get your card. Amazing.
Shitty part is now I have to wait 3-4 weeks for the state to issue me my card and make it official. I want to get high (legally) right goddamn now!!! Bah!

How much more do you pay for the 'medical' weed compared to equipotent bags from your local dealer?

Harvest Moon Services that I get my home delivery, yes home delivery with extra no delivery fee, from is $80 for a quarter. I only ever bought off the street once and paid $10/g so the price is comparable but the quality is through the roof. I mean it wasn't even close. I used far less of the medical grade stuff than that street weed I got which I thought was actually quite good at the time. Now I also had a friend give me some when I ran out and couldn't get a delivery. His street weed was absolutely awful. I had to vape 3-4x as much of the stuff he gave me compared to Harvest Moons stuff.
Also Harvest Moons stuff has all the pertinent info for each strain they have. THC% and CBD% so if you want something higher in one than the other you know exactly what you're getting.

Oh and if you're curious as to how much pot you can legally possess with your medical card you are allowed to have a 60 day supply. How much do they deem as a 60 day supply? 10 fucking ounces. I can't even imagine attempting to use that much in 60 days. You would be forever locked into oblivion. That much would last me at least 2 years, maybe more, at the rate that I've been using it.

10 ounces is a lot of weed.

Even when I was heavy smoking, an ounce would last me a month. And that was basically being lit all the time.

Overall I have continued to steadily improve week by week by a slight margin like if I had it on a scale of 0% being the day I had 13 clots and couldn't even lift my arm without going into respiratory distress to 50% when I left hospital and was able to walk 30 feet at a time I have gotten around 1% better a week since. I am probably where I was in early April in how I feel.

Things we discussed at doctors Friday are basically-
sleeping 10 hours, pumping myself up all morning and working a 5-6 hour stint then feeling completely done for the day. Initial doctor answer- Construction even though I been doing it literally 30 years is not a profession I should be doing anymore.
Seering, sudden and as quickly vanishing pains in chest, legs and back. Shooting, sharp pains that happen randomly daily, every day I never had until the past weeks/months.
My consistently dropping blood pressure. I always had around 110/75 ish BP but many days and often when I feel tired it is 80s over 50s and most of the day in the 90 over 60 range. Pretty sure the Metoprol is doing it.
My Warfarin is still 7.5mg per day. Last week my cat clawed my leg harmlessly but it bleed like 5 oz of blood over a hour before I got it to quit. That doesn't sound like much but pour out 5 oz of oil onto your carpet to get a idea how much that is. Was a puddle. I have had stiffening of arteries and stuff but no clots since the hospital. Seems too thin for me, we'll see on the blood tests.

Hopefully find out something that can be adjusted/changed.
Still only working 25-30 hour weeks but after this week I may go to plan B as it is right now I work progressively less at the end of the week and basically sleep all weekend exhausted. They suggested maybe taking Wednesday off entirely so I both don't waste my entire weekend dead tired and work more consistently.

I don't know if it's practical (and it probably isn't) to leave construction entirely. But your doctor isn't being an asshole. That is hard physical work that takes a toll on the human body. "Takes its toll" in your case is what's been happening for the past weeks. Some guys fuck their joints, some guys fuck their tendons, some guys fuck their muscles.

But working 2/1/2/2 sounds like a good initial compromise. You canliterallywork yourself to death.

So I'm all set with pain meds after my surgery. They stopped earlier last week. I had been feeling a bit crummy for a few days now and last night it hit me full force. Fucking withdrawal effects. Super bad anxiety, body aches, shakes and leg convulsions, and a borderline panic attack until I took .25mg of my wife's xanax. And I HATE taking that shit at all. Called my doctor to get myself weened off this shit a bit slower. Feeling ok for now but this isn't the first time I've had this issue with pain meds and it always hits me hardest at night. I'll drive my ass the hour into Boston to pick up a script. I do not want another night like last night.

I'm surprised a little that they didn't have a better plan for you tapering down, if you've had the issue before. The kind of surgery that you've had... it's not like you're a junkie lookin for a fix in the ER.

Oh I'm sure it won't be a problem getting another script and tapering down. I had been slowing them down but I guess it wasn't slow enough in the end.

Clinic day at the Oncology suite so nothing got done. I can feel it coming on already. Tightness in my chest starting, migraine amping up, which is then making me feel anxious which is speeding up the anxiety, body aches are starting. And it's all just a massive inconvenience to my wife. It's going to be another fun night.

Anyone had a stint implanted ? I think I may be heading that way.
