I would cut rumbling elemental and nefarian but otherwise it looks good. Played against a similar list on the ladder earlier, Brann enhanced Fire Elementals are brutal.

Funny game, I made a Shaman Brann deck. I play jewelled scarab and one of the option is Brann so I chose him. Played him on turn 5 with Ancestral Spirit. He kills it, Brann is resummoned. Played the other one from my deck later on. Nothing really spectacular happened but opponent had to deal with 3 Brann which I thought was fun.

Ended up winning but Brann was really that much of an impact to be honest, even though I had him 3 times.

Played a few more games and simply doesn't survive so you have to combo off him, and while there are a few good Battlecry, nothing to really take a game away. Better people might find a way to make it work, but my initial few games tell me he won't have a big impact.

I got absolutely demolished by a handlock running brann earlier. Double health twilights and double buffing argus.

I tried replacing a cultist for him in dragon priest and pretty much ran into the same issue. The dream of having him out when you drop nef is real though. I also considered a bomb lobber, assuming that can kill two targets, but Loatheb is probably the better choice there.

Might have to try the handlock idea instead. I'm kind of with Vald though, he's probably not going to be much of a game changer, it is a bit of a soft taunt for people to remove immediately though.

I finally have enough dust to craft another legendary. Which will be the best bang for the buck with Control Warrior, these are the three staples I lack.
Justicar
Ragnaros
Baron Geddon

Or I could do Antonidas for Mage, I mostly use a tempo deck. Any thoughts gratefully received.

I'd say Justicar since that hero power is a son of a bitch. Geddon is very strong though too.

Archmage is a strong choice too but it basically depends if you plan to play a lot of mage or warrior.

Rag obviously going to be usable with other classes, but there's not as many who run him anymore.

Well, just used up my esports quota for the next 3 months. Been grinding Reno Warlock and haven't seen Mal'Ganis off a Bane of Doom for ages... until just now.

It's my turn and I am at 3 health against Secret Paladin who has on the board:
1 charge of Ashbringer
2x 5/5 recruits
1x 1/1 recruit
He has 0 cards remaining in hand.

I have on board:
1x Defender of Argus

In my hand:
1x Faceless Manipulator (4 mana cost)
1x Bane of Doom (4 mana cost)
1x Shadowflame (4 mana cost)

I still have Healbot & Reno in my deck with ~10 cards remaining.

I tap into Twilight Drake.

Last hope... Bane of Doom the 1/1 recruit into Mal'Ganis... which I then Faceless for 2x Mal'Ganis @ 11/9s.
He drops belcher and clears my Argus but next turn I draw the Reno, clear his board with Shadowflame, and win the turn after.

Fucking esports baby!

If he didn't use his hero power I was dead. Would have been no target to Bane of Doom. I could have cleared his board with Faceless > Shadowflame but I woulda died to Ashbringer.

Started playing a Reno Lock deck and it's not bad. The variety does indeed make it fun. So many answers for specific situations. The games last forever but I'm enjoying it. I immediate delay in any opponent action after Reno is played is the best. You can tell they're just like "fuck me".

I love how shredder, a neutral, is 6 mana value for 4 mana and mounted raptor, a class card is 3 mana value for 3 mana. They know they fucked up with shredder, but are choosing not to fix it.
I guess thats why they keep releasing new 2 drops with shitty stats eg Jeweled Scarab or that 2/2 warlock card

played against a priest who got him off a scarab, played him and one turn later an Injured Blademaster
he wasn't happy about that result

So here is my current Reno mage project. I'm basically undefeated against other control decks, this deck is completely unstoppable if I manage to drag it out into the late game as I completely bury my opponent in card advantage. I just haven't figured out how to shore up the early game, which means the deck is weak to the most common stuff on the ladder like secret pally, face hunter, and aggro druid.

Mage - Deckbuilder - HearthPwn

Incidentally, Ethereal Conjurer is a total mvp in control matchups and a high priority for duplicate. If I were running control mage without Reno he would most likely be a two-of.

Looks decent.

Consider adding:
Molten Giant: Great in Reno decks and great vs Aggro decks if you can Molten+Argus.
Argus: Gives extra reach for minions and helps vs aggro a bit.
Sylvanas: Just good.
Faceless: MVP card in my Renolock deck. So versatile. 2x Ragnaros/Sylvanas or get a copy of enemy Tirion/Ysera/etc.
Scarab: Mage have a ton of great 3 drops: every secret, flamewaker, arcane intellect, torch.
Ragnaros: Just good in control and if you can faceless it it's even better.
Doomsayer: You already have 1/2 a freeze deck, doomsayer seems logical.

Consider dropping:
Alex: If you're not a full freeze mage then you shouldnt need Alex.
Ghoul: Seems meh... Doomsayer would be better imo.
Rhonin: Kinda slow but fun in control I guess. Ragnaros is more fun imo.
1x Mad Scientist: You are only running 1 secret.

I cut Scarab, it's too slow against aggro. Alex is huge, you must be crazy. Rhonin I'm a bit meh on, but setting up Rhonin into Antonidas is a big part of how I win the games that go into fatigue. Ghoul is more consistent than Doomsayer when you only have 3 freezes, especially when you're dropping it without backup. I'm running 3 secrets, not 1.
