Losing Mad Scientist hurts Hunters and Mages both but Face Hunter survived without Mad Scientist in Classic and I think they'll find a way to survive in Standard. But a Knife Juggler nerf in conjunction with the loss of Scientist might put them out of the running. But Face Hunter has survived nerfs and keeps coming back for more. It's not in great shape now but it's still a viable deck for quick games and quick wins.

Face hunter before mad scientist, they've nerfed at least 3 or 4 hunter cards since then, flare, hunter's mark, buzzard, not sure if uth was before or after.

Does the season end tomorrow? What's the fastest way to at least get rank 15 lol. I have ignored it all season. Aggro Shaman maybe?

Edit: Aggro Shaman took aprox 8 mins to get rank 15. nm. My double Golden Doomhammers finally came in handy. I've had them since beta. Never in a million years imagined I'd be able to utilize both lol.

I don't think I can really put any deck together other than the one I play. Only really been playing a month and just going Zoo Lock because it is a pretty cheap deck to assemble for a newbie.

There is some guy that got a bug ages ago which gave him 9 copies of Old Murk Eye. Dude is gonna have a blast dusting those after the patch.

Speaking of, any speculation when it'll happen? Big patch today, Spring officially starts today or tomorrow? But at the same time they haven't spoiled any new cards from the expansion like they usually do? Maybe they want to drop it as a surprise, without anyone knowing any of the cards? Personally I think that'd be awesome.

First day of spring is March 20th. They have some sort of announcement set up for the ninth, expect the card previews to start rolling out by that time next week, hopefully sooner of course.

The grind is so terrible to earn cards that if you won't pay you might as well not play.

I tried that Hunter deck and my third match was a mirror match.

If you don't have a very robust classic collection, perhaps. If you finish your quests daily and buy the adventures I think you'll be fine not buying if you can farm classic out without buying packs.

Lol I just played a grand total of 7 Legendaries in a single Arena game as a Rogue. My main deck has a Toshley and an Illidan. I also have Gang Up and Bugle. I Gang Up'd the Toshley and Burgle stole Flame Leviathan and Rhonin. I played both Toshley and Illidan and then drew the following 3 Toshleys in the next 5 turns and then dropped Flame Leviathan and Rhonin the turn after. The best part was the synergy between Toshley's Spare Parts and Illidan. Plus my Mage opponent dropped a Venture Co and I simply kept Freezing it with spare parts and filling my board with 2/1s haha. Woulda been hilarious if I got Antonidas instead of Flame Leviathan rofl.

Also finally got to play with Anub'Arak for the first time in the game after. Burgled it in a Mirror Match and wow, it saved me. Those nonstop Nerubians are sick. And with coins from Tomb Pillager you can replay Anub + play a 2 drop or use dagger. He may be niche as hell, but when he fills that niche, boy is he amazing.

What's your reason NOT to buy cards? A 50-pack every few months for a game you play a lot of isn't much money.
