I could see Volazj in an inspire based deck. Could also be used with Shadowform. Paletress, Tournament Medic, and Kodorider could see a lot of value with Volazj.

All the good deathrattles are rotating out with Naxxramas, unfortunately.

Volazj is decent if you're running a lot of Deathrattles. But with so many strong Deathrattles rotating out we'll see. The card is an interesting concept and I have no idea how to call it. It seems like it could fall on it's face or it could be really strong.

I'm not sold on the Tauren. It's 4/5 in stats (a yeti) spread out over two very weak minions. The taunt helps to slow aggression a bit so there's that. Honestly though I think I'd run Harvest Golem over him. I'm giving up Taunt on the front end and 1 health on the back end but I'm able to play it a turn earlier and keep the 4 slot open for a more impactful play. 3 can be an awkward turn but on 4 you want something with impact.

Best way I've found is with mage. Poly the warleaders and their everyfin play is suboptimal at best. Control priest can also deal with it similarly by stealing key murlocs / entombing and you can also just run over them early game with tempo mage.

Volaz is a damned cool concept for a card.

Far too minion-based for priest though, so sadly will be wasted. Will likely somehow break Wild a year or two from now though. There's a slim chance it can be made to work for Control Priest (Handcleric?) in Standard but it seems a bit risky.

Still, I do like the fact that it is both technically possible and that they are willing to print something with a powerful effect.

Keep Loatheb and drop him on Turn 10. A lot of times Anyfin straight up loses if they can't play their first Anyfin on turn 10.

Tauren looks like garbage unless the slime also has taunt then maybe it's playable.

Volazj just doesn't seem feasible in any competitive or good deck, but fun for sure.
If you can stick a malygos or prophet velen then you can get some mindblast fun going, but that's like 1 in a 100 it happens

Volazj is definitely cool and I will try to find ways to use it. It's not like Priest legends are all that great or used very often Paletress can be fun but has already been overshadowed. Same with Vol'jin so it's not like priest depends on them lol.

Tauren does look like garbage. If that's an answer to aggro, standard is going to be rough.

The answer to aggro will be that board clears actually clear the goddamn board instead of leaving a 4/4, 2 1/1s, and a random 2 cost minion.

Would be cool if they gave some counter-play cards like a Meteor card for mage. 8 mana deal 6 damage to all minions. Give your opponent an aftershock card.
On your opponents next turn Aftershock costs 2 mana and is automatically cast which deals 3 damage to everyone.

But basically I hate deathrattle.

Hmm the 2\2 slime that deathrattles out of the tauren, it is a taunt too?

If it is then it is kind of a weaker Belcher? Still not bad if so.

Stuck between 5/4 here, for about 6 hours. Brutal stretch, only playing against mid-range druid, murloc paladin and freeze mage.

Ugh, I hate when that happens. I'm so tired of this season that I can't get into it. Still at 11 and playing maybe 2 games a day. Will probably spend one day just pushing to 5 but I already dread playing that much. Been having a blast with the Brawl and a couple non competitive decks in casual( taunt warr and Reno Aviana). I'm hoping both will be valid after standard rolls in.

Corrupted Tauren is shit even if the slime has taunt too. Belcher mainly worked because there isn't actually a lot of competition in the 5 drop slot. You've got healbot, azure drake, harrison, loatheb, spectral knight, and belcher. Also the power curve falls off pretty hard between 4 and 5, so dropping a 3/5 body on turn 5 isn't that far behind the curve compared to dropping a 2/3 on turn 4. Tauren doesn't even hold up against existing neutral 4 drops (Yeti, Dark Iron, Argus, Heckler, Sen'jin), much less any further 4 drops we might see in Whispers.
