Azure drake just seems better overall. Of course, can play both if you want.

Also, Azure Drake is a dragon which makes a huge difference. I like Ivory Knight but probably just in Reno N'Zoth. It has been pretty useful in Anyfin Pally as well though.

lol you haven't seriously been trying anyfin in standard have you? I gave it a spin and the loss of murk-eye absolutely destroyed the deck. I mean aside from how much damage he swings for, there's also no viable replacement for him, so you're trying to make the combo work with a pool of 4 murlocs instead of 5. Even if you meant wild I'd run azure drake before I ran knight, cycling through the deck for your combo is way more important.

I even tried a n'zoth/murloc hybrid for standard and while it performed better than pure murloc, it was still worse than regular n'zoth pally.

Kolento's Ivory Knight Anyfin Paladin (August 2016, Season 29) - Hearthstone Top Decks

Kolento made it and I just ran it for some variety on the ladder. It wasn't bad and I got the dream Anyfin from an Ivory one time for the win. Trump has a nice Reno N'Zoth with Ivory in it that I like pretty good. Better after Barnes drops but some fun to be had.

I tried both versions of n'zoth pally after the set dropped and reno was consistently worse than a normal decklist. Paladin already has great healing and terrible removal, it might be the single worst class for reno in standard.

Decided to try Reno Nzoth Rogue in Wild since it's one of the classes I don't have golden, and it's just not that good in Standard. It's been working pretty well. I really can't decide what I think of Xaril though, I feel like the card just isn't that good. I think it just costs too much, it should have been 3 mana.

I prefer N'zoth rogue without Reno in wild. Double healbot plz. And yeah I don't think Xaril is good enough for wild seeing as how shredder exists. He's fine in standard though.

I think 3 mana would have been too strong, but yeah the card feels a touch under powered, think making it a 3/3 may have helped in that regard while not making it too strong.

I've been bouncing around decks. Mind you, i'm pretty terrible at the game - i started not long ago. I did end up getting rank 7 last season using aggro/totem shaman. But i thought it was terribly boring so i decided to reroll. After playing other classes/decks i realized how terribly easy and overpowered that shit was - up to a certain point. Then it hits a wall and only the good players advance.

I tried tempo mage, a few variations of druid, then i got a Xaril in a pack. Considered making a rogue deck, since the combo aspect seemed like a lot of fun, but it seemed like it's out of favor in the current meta. And then i saw that most good rogue decks (miracle rogue atm) didn't even include it. So i ended up disenchanting it.

I ended up spending a bunch of money to make a Handlock deck. Really complex and a lot of fun. I've definitely overstepped my skill level though, so i get destroyed by aggro decks due to my inability to manage the early game. But it's still really rewarding and fun against any non-cheese aggro decks... which are unfortunately pretty rare at the low/mid end of the rank grind...

wonder if deathrattle rogue will make a comeback with barnes/if its enough. Will try on thursday I guess. But a midrange version with cairne/sylv/rag with barnes might work out against control, don't know if its enough to keep up against the usual zoo/shaman stuff though.

Rogue need some form of "lifesteal" to make them viable imo. I want to play Rogue then realize they have literally zero comeback mechanic and zero healing (outside Reno deck). It's like you get board early and keep it or you're toast. Really hard to do vs the current crop of aggro.

Rogue is barely above priest tier. They simply cannot function without blade flurry and playable neutral heals.

Karazhan fights are much better than the previous adventures so far. The Medivh fight is hilarious, even if it basically boils down to 'get a broken opening and dominate the entire match or die on turn 3'.

Man I haven't gotten better than a 40g quest in 8 days, and that's counting a reroll every day. It's a shitty time to be completing 40g quests with the adventure mode and not having gold
