slippery,

I like your deck. It's fun to see what class cards ill get. It was also delicious to use 3 total netherspite historian and then 2 total Ysera from them against a priest. He was able to entomb one and then play it but could never kill the other and it gave some good stuff. When Entomb goes, priest will be really weak to cards like that once again. My dragon priest will probably play at least one thoughtsteal and maybe a shifting shade just for the giggles. I stomped a traditional handlock with a few rezzed shifting shades the other day. It was fun to drop Jaraxxus and watch them slowly figure out that the loss was inevitable.

Bran + Swashburgler and Historian can be really nasty too. Discovered dragons tend to be late game bombs, and you get to pick the one best for the game you're in. I think the Historians are the flex cards in the deck though. I think they are something you could take out possibly for something like Arcane Giants. I think you could potentially replace Sprint with Rag too

Yeah, I was thinking about doing that last part earlier. Got demolished by a shadow priest and his well-timed Rag. Card is just so good right now. I enjoyed an arcane giant/ gang up deck last month but haven't played it in a while.

Shaman got a pretty good rare that might see some play. I suck at linking.

4 cost
3/6 body
1 Overload
Battlecry: Restore 6 health.

That could be real strong in a control deck. It does not have taunt and the ability is useless early on but I think if Shamans ever play a "One of" deck it would be strong.

Many people thought antique healbot was oh pee at 5 mana, 3/3 stats, heals for 8. This is strictly better stat-wise and you can heal a minion with the battlecry

Final card dump announced for Monday so expansion launch the following week seems likely for sure.

That shaman minion would work nicely in my N'Zoth deck. A fatigue/control/late game shaman deck would benefit greatly from it.

Midrange shaman desperately needed a more versatile toolset, that card should give them the push they badly needed to be a competitive deck.

I can definitely see the shaman meta continuing in some form at least until the spring expansion. Not sure it will be priest that changes things this time, but if they get another strong set next time it could be the priest time in the sun finally.

Fast decks never disappear entirely and shaman is king in that department right now.

However, for mid range and control I can see priest/reno mage/jade druid all being tried the most on week 1.

Edit: also expect new aggro paladin and hunter decks to be tried, possibly dethroning shaman.

I want a rogue deck to emerge but I still don't see any comeback mechanic or healing

Shaman isn't even necessarily fast per se, its just curvestone like secret pal meta was. That's really the game they've created and how they've always wanted it. Minions and board and RNG, that's the design philosophy. Combo barely exists (good riddance IMO but I do see how its a poor idea from a diversity standpoint) and control is sketchy AF other than warrior with their armor stupidity.

Even in wild its basically freeze mage still being viable and then mostly curvestone. There's some rare patron decks in wild but without the charge thing its just not as consistent unless you draw well.
