Albatross? Can't have one shitty card as a safety valve against powerful highlander decks now can we!?
Nerfing sac pact now is just dumb too. The only reason that card has seen play is because you introduced another class that has tons of demons in it's core set.

Well it's an objectively powerful card because it's not just shutting down highlander decks, it's also gumming the other deck up with shit draws. That being said, it's still only a staple in two lists that I see, Galakrond Lock and Rez Priest, so it's weird that they would be targeting it.
The fact that some non-highlander decks run Zephrys should be a bigger warning sign.

Galakrond warlock doesn't run Singletons at all but runs dragonqueen and sometimes zephrys too.

Yeah, I'm really not sure how I feel about this new format. It's very weird. If I'm reading and understanding it right they basically play a tournament every week off stream, and then on the weekend we see the playoffs portion of it. Format the first 3 weeks changes. Then the last 4 weeks they get seeded into groups that have some pretty serious relegation implications (top 8 have 6 guaranteed in playoffs, bottom 8 have 2 guaranteed relegated, regardless of what happens the last 4 weeks).
I dunno, I'm not really a fan. I like how it played last season. I guess from the players it might feel better, because they play a lot more matches? We'll see how it goes I guess

Woo, Diamond 5, i can finally take a break and dick around a bit.
Really thinking I need to invest some dust if I want to take DH to legend and still have a respectable winrate. Maybe I can keep being a cheapass and not craft metamorphosis or kayn, but I'm thinking at least one warglaive. Warblades don't seem to have enough oomph and the lifesteal is really only relevant in the mirror. Warglaive lets you sacrifice life to stay ahead on the board, or blast through a taunt if necessary.

Since you can't decay concede a few hundred games in a row on turn one to tank your MMR and then start playing for real. While you're advancing to Legend you'll be playing against only shitters as matchmaking now uses your MMR instead of your rank to determine who you play against.
