Control Warrior has no problems with Freeze Mage at all. Ramp Druid also does pretty well too. I love getting hit by Alexstrasza and only have 29 health left afterward with all my stacked armor.
I primarily play Tempo Rogue. I had a terrible start with mostly spells after mulligan, so I had to deal with Vaporize / Mirror entity as my minions trickled in on the draw. I had all the removal I needed, but that deck barely plays minions and he also had Counterspell. I stabilize with some board presence but we're into the late game at this point. Archmage Antonidas comes out, so I take it out with minions, but not before they gets two fireballs from him, which go off in my face. Next round, Pyroblast for the lose.

I mean, I had a terrible start against a control deck, and he had the ideal game against me, but the way it played out just left me super salty.

Loatheb: Legendary, Minion, Mana Cost 5, Attack 5, Health 5
Battlecry: Enemy spells cost (5) more next turn.

Not a bad card really. It's a 5/5 minion for 5 with a decent battlecry. Play it against a Mage and it delays Flamestrike by a turn and makes cheap removal prohibitively expensive. Personally, I like it.

Why it is taking this long to port the game from IoS to Android is beyond me. It isn't like Blizzard has insane amounts of capital and Android has roughtly 70% of the market share (according to some article I read in the Tech > Smartphone thread.

Yeah, it delays Miracle Rogue by a full turn if you have him in hand.

Turn 5: Rogue plays Auctioneer and coins out Conceal (or preps out conceal).

Turn 6: Drop Loatheb, Rogue is very limited with what they can do and if they don't have another conceal (which is going to eat the entire turn being 6 mana, you actually can deal with Loatheb).

Another option is to hold him until turn 8ish and then drop him to prevent all of the Leeroy + Cold Blood + Shadowstep stupidity for a full turn to give you a chance to prepare for it (or outright win the game).

I look forward to the new stuff that could be coming with this card alone, not even considering the rest of the new cards. Like a tempo rogue with two shadowsteps, you could play this on turn 5, 6 and 7 and hit for stuff in the head too since 5/5 is pretty sturdy.

It's surprising especially since it's made with Unity, but it's a smaller team so maybe those who would be working on the Android version, both coding and testing, have been working on Naxx.

Definitely a good card. 5mana is a kinda shitty spot to begin with so adding more is nice, it's 5/5 which makes it worth it regardless and the effect is really good against about everything but aggro. Makes it a lot harder to remove right away too since pretty much every main removal will be too expensive to drop on it. So yeha very good for tempo, strong turn 5 play if you already have board control or play it on an empty board. Hope the other boss cards are as interesting and not just shit that already exists with better stats.

Well, we've seen the Rivendare card, which I think can be used in some neat combos, and if the leaks are anything to go by (Loatheb was pretty close and it seems quite plausible that it was changed during balancing) then Maexxna looks quite strong - and different - too. I think it was 2/8 with poison.

Maexxna also counts as a beast apparently. A 2/8 beast with poison is a pretty big boost to midrange hunter decks. Looks good on paper anyway; 5 mana might still be too slow unless the meta slows down a bit after Naxx releases.

Is there anything to help track that data?
An example of what that tracker can help you see.

Microsoft Excel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I kid... I kid... Pen and Paper works just as well!

I think that Hearthstats has a downloadable program that will track things for you but I've never played with it.
All jokes aside, I actually just use excel. I've heard mixed things about hearthstone tracker, so I just whipped up a spreadsheet. /nerd

class breakdown from my last 250 games:

Class # Played % of Total
Warlock 75 29.76%
Druid 45 17.86%
Rogue 32 12.70%
Warrior 19 7.54%
Shaman 17 6.75%
Mage 22 8.73%
Paladin 23 9.13%
Hunter 11 4.37%
Priest 8 3.17%

I used excel for a while but honestly I'm too lazy to input the games all the time. I just started using the HearthstoneTracker.com one recently. I like it.

I only have to input one number per game with the one I use, but I'm not tracking wins per player one/two side, which I guess I ought to.

But I heard hearthstonetracker doesn't track those right anyway.

Back when I used it, it tracked stuff right but if you leave too quickly after a match it fucks up sometimes so it missed a bunch of stuff. Can go and edit win/loss if you want later though. It always detect the class you play and the class you play against fine though.
