"Unless your deck consists of 30 arcane intellects." Are you really this dense?
We aren't putting these cards in our decks, we are comparing them to cards that exist. The established concept is that the Warlock hero power is Arcane Intellect. This costs 3 mana and puts a new card in your hand. If this is our starting point then the Paladin hero power is Novice Engineer, it puts a 1/1 on the board and doesn't cost you a card from your hand. It doesnotgive you another 1/1 unless that is your entire deck just the same as the Warlock hero power doesn't give you another "Draw one card" unless that is your entire deck.

You aren't DRAWING a 1/1, you are playing a 1/1 at the cost of no card. And even at face value, unless -2 health is fairly priced as a cost of 1 mana, the warlock hero power still comes out on top, that isn't the argument. If valuing the Warlock hero power at 3 mana by using Arcane Intellect is fine, valuing the others at 0 mana uses faulty logic.

So then it is not equivalent. You do not draw a card with the paladin hero power. In order for it to be equivalent it would have to ensure you draw a 1/1 every time. And I agree valuing the warlock hero power at 3 by looking at arcane intellect is faulty logic, but since there is no direct comparison you can argue whether it would be 2 or 3 mana.
The warlock hero power even ignoring mana cost is not 3 Mana. Bat that original assessment was correct so it is.

Priests have an extremely high skill cap. They're annoying as all fuck but they are not easy to play at all.

LOL I just dipped my toe in the water 10 mins ago at rank 2.
Immediately, got 2x agro rogues, and a agro hunter. Was able to beat them, but after then I closed for tonight haha.

So what's the 401 on the new cards released today? Obviously people are saying the slime is very good, but beyond the obvious what classes does it benefit the most.
I assume Locks because of the replication synergy with Knife thrower, and Druids because of token.

I'm just surprised that so many reasonably intelligent people can make the same mistake. I feel like The Master would have figured it out eventually had other parties not stepped in to argue incorrectly. I guess I should have explained it more clearly at the beginning, I just felt it was obvious. I'll drop it now though, if people haven't gotten it yet they aren't going to.
