If only.

I do think the meta is pretty gross right now. Agro decks work on ladder because they have the potential to get these blowout starts and most control decks have one answer that works (Fiery War Axe, Wrath, Frostbolt, etc). If you don't get that answer, you lose to those blowout starts. That accounts for about half the wins of agro decks and it just isn't fun to play against those starts. I actually think agro can be interesting to play against, carefully planning out your turns, saving clears, etc. but when I run into agro on ladder most of the time it is like the game I posted about, I mulligan hard for removal, remove as much power from the board every turn as I can, and still lose. It sucks. Really if there were simply a better answer to death rattles besides silence I'd be happy. Exorcist isn't good enough and Purifier is Paladin only. They won't add more silence options, which leaves.... not a lot. Pyromancer combos, I guess. Not so great for most classes.
It's hilarious friending some of them and seeing how fucking common they pull off the exact same draw. Insert paranoid speculation here.

And after a whole night of note taking - literally EVERY SINGLE SHAMAN I played tonight - 12 total - played out two flametongue totems with over 15 cards left in their deck. RNG has some sort of fishiness...

Warlocks, 14 total, all but one had double flame imp and double voidwalker in the top 15 as well.

Didn't bother keeping notes on others because there's too many variants of their decks, but those two that are pretty constant alarmingly often ended up having key cards always appearing top 15 - sure, with mulliganing there should be a slight skew, but not 100%/nearly 100%

Key components of their decks coming out at higher than normal frequencies is just a result of aggressive mulliganing.

It's a connection issue
I can't even reinstall Battle.net. I uninstalled it and upon trying to reinstall, I get an error about there being a problem transferring data and that Battle.net would automatically keep trying and that I didn't need to do so manually. However, that's a lie because it totally doesn't, it just closes completely. However, my connection is fine. Who knows, maybe this is a sign. I don't enjoy HS far more than I enjoy it, yet I don't stop playing. Ugh, really frustrating though, what the actual fuck?

Aggro is out of control because it's the end of the season? Are handlocks and control warriors not a thing any more because I still see plenty of them.

Handlock is out of control since GvG. Do they even have a hard counter? Its certainly not aggro hunter like it used to be. Healbot has been huge for them.

Paladin is a strong matchup against Handlock with Peacekeepers to neuter giants and equality to kill anything with their dudes.

Oh, that one - I got that once, there's a file that needs to be messed with to fix that if it's the same one I got way back when. At least sounds like its the same one, I got an error message with a code when I got it, and searching the code got the file adjustments I needed.

Not to that degree it's not - 10%/13% of your deck being contained by the initial draw would make that impossible to be a heavy skew. Around 70% by my math is what it should land at versus the natural 50%.

Just went 0-3 with a Paladin that has 3 true silvers and 2 consecrations ... Never saw a single card out of the 5 in all 3 games including the mulligan

Tip of the day:

Do NOT go into your transaction history on blizzard.net...

I didn't realize I had spent as much on this game as I had. Most of it was really early on in Closed Beta when nerfs were fairly regular and I was able to cash in on the dust. But still... It was eye opening.

Are you sad you've spent so much money, or that you feel invested and must keep playing a frustrating game to give that expenditure meaning?

It doesn't make me sad or upset because, even though I'll bitch up a shitstorm when it comes to the game, I do enjoy it overall. And between my wife's salary as an RN and my salary as an Accountant, we make good money so I can afford it. It was just a bit more than I expected. Not a crazy amount more than I expected. But, definitely, higher than I expected.

Blizzard, definitely, has a good thing going with this game if even a small percentage of people put this kind of money into it. Especially because the staff is small and I can't imagine the overhead costs are all that bad (comparatively speaking of course).

Fair enough. I'm glad I've only spent $1.99 on this game, which itself came out of leftover D3 gold sales. So many times I've thought "well, if put $10 into the game, it will be enjoyable again!".

Turn 8 was Antonidas, rusty horn, coin, whirling blades. I had a fireball in hand early and I took the screenshot after I pulled the 2nd (5th).
