Well if they do the most often talked about change where they just change Undertaker to be a mana wyrm for death rattles, hunter builds won't change at all. In fact, I suspect the only deck that particular nerf would kill would be Undertaker priests.

After the release of Goblins vs Gnomes, we kept an eye on the state of game balance as more matches were played with the new cards we introduced to Hearthstone. After careful consideration we have decided to make a balance change to the card Undertaker.

The following balance change will be made in an upcoming patch:

Undertaker now reads: Whenever you summon a minion with Deathrattle, gain +1 Attack.

Undertaker was frustrating to play against. It often gained both Attack and Health stats significantly above those of other inexpensive minions very early in the game. With this change, we expect Undertaker will still be better than other 1-Mana minions when played in a deck with a Deathrattle theme, but more likely to die in combat against other minions.

The golden version of Undertaker can be disenchanted for its full cost for a limited time once this balance change goes live.

We will continue to make balance changes to Hearthstone when we feel they are necessary in order to increase the variety of cards seen at all levels of play, with the goal of making Hearthstone a more fun and interactive game for everyone.

Ugh without buffing it to a 1/3 it might be too weak. Now it basically can't trade with anything. They just can't get anything right can they?

Started getting into the game and enjoying it so far. One thing that really bothers me is I keep seeing people in Arena use up to 2 Legendaries in one match, when I haven't been given the option to pick any Legendaries. Am I doing something wrong? Seems quite RNG and unfair.
Being offered a legendary during your draft is completely random. In fact, I think besides your last pick, you're not explicitly guaranteed any rares, epics, or legendaries. And since you can go a few games without playing most of your deck, you can meet definitely meet some shlub in the 2 loss bracket that has a Fordring and Sylvanas.

It's extremely frustrating when your ability to continue playing arena(i.e.: stringing together 7+ win runs) depends largely on the randomness of: your hero pool, your draft, your shuffling, your mulligan, when you play, and who you play.

The longer I play this game the more I rationalize playing it less. I'm down to doing dailies(saving mage and paladin dailies for arena) and do 1-2 arena runs in the morning on the weekends.

Wyrm is a class card and thus supposed to be stronger than a neutral. Plus spells as activators are entirely different than just plopping down one of your many minions which all have decent value by themselves.

The only other 1 drops that can gain atk/health are Secretkeeper and Hungry Crab.

Anyone calling the undertaker nerf unjustified must be dirty hunter players imo!

Uh, wat? Zoo and Hunters probably won't change a single card. The only decks I can think of that would stop running Undertaker are Priests and the more aggressive versions of echo Mage.

Zoo and Hunter might not change decks but there's very good reason to swap out undertaker for a different card now.

The undertaker nerf means more efficient trades and less of the blow-out games. You'll see their win percentages drop a few points for sure. Gotta figure at LEAST a few % of the wins come purely from undertaker getting out of control due to opponent not drawing into removal in time.

Overall though, you're right that the hunter/zoo won't disappear but there's going to be a lot less anxiety playing vs them now since you'll be able to scrap by not having that early 2 drop minions/silence/whatever for the UT, and removal can also be saved for more efficient times now since UT won't have health buffed out of range of the removal.

Kolento quickly talking about undertaker on his stream.

Brief summary:

Deathrattle hunter will be awkward and disappears. Leper Gnome doesn't make sense anymore and Mad Scientist is weaker.
Face hunter becomes more popular.
Zoo becomes even more popular due to less people running Zombie Chows. (Zombie Chow won't be as needed anymore since Undertaker can be dealt with easier)
Paladin becomes even more popular.
Shaman might see more play.
Handlock still less popular since everyone playing BGH still.

Did he not address the current popularity of Ramp Druid? which is a fantastic reason to keep playing handlock despite all the BGHs around?

I know I just lost a game when playing a druid i kill a shredder and out comes a whirlwind zapper as I know he is holding onto at least one savage roar. I had just played boom the turn before so i have boom bots on the board, he double savage roars and swipes a minion for bm not thinking about the boom bots obviously, they both hit his fucking face. FUCK YOU, there is no justice.
