I don't play paladin though since I don't have many of the other cards needed (like Tirion for starters), so Bolvar gets to just hang out in my collection and look dapper.

lol wtf. I was trying to go into play mode and the loading screen was just sitting there, so I mushed on the screen a couple times and now I'm playing a casual match with the stock mage deck

Edit: Lost to another mage that had Hogger and Illidan. Made a good run of it though.

Patron is the closest thing to Vintage magic this game is gonna find. The rogue decks were close.. but not quite what Patron is accomplishing, imo.

wow I threw this together today and went 14-5 so far going from 12 to 9. Crushes face hunter and haven't had a bad matchup yet, maybe mech mage. You can do some ridiculous stuff with flamewakers.

Patron was a great step toward a more complex and satisfying metagame. It's still aggressive enough to stay relevant among the face hunters and mech mages, control-ly enough to take down Handlock, and more consistent than a typical combo deck. It's terrific.

Initial testing of my dragon paladin deck is yielding decent results. 5-1 atm.
Only lost to handlock so far but I played it bad.

Only Good Dragons - Hearthstone Decks

Combos:

Hungry Dragon + Mind Control Tech
Blessing of Wisdom + Chrommagus @ 9 mana, or earlier if you get Emperor out
Other shit is obvious

Think of this deck as a cheater deck, there are 3 cards that give you mana advantage: Emperor+2x Dragon Consorts. Hungry Dragon is very powerful on its own and could also fall in this category. Your extreme early game means the enemy won;t have much to deal with your crazy late game.

I rarely get Chrommagus played, games usually end beforehand, but I did manage to Cogmaster him up 1x and he produced an extra Hungry Dragon. The time I was able to play him with Blessing of Wisdom I got 2x Tirion and then 2x Sylvanas.

Only 6 games recorded so low sample size.

edit: 7-2 after 9 games

Thanks. Not getting a lot of value out of thaurissian so may switch that out. And yeah crushed by the new zoo lol. But other than that doing pretty well. Arcane missiles is sweet imo

With a waker out its 5 damage for 1 mana out of nowhere.

11-3 with my dragon pal deck I posted above. Got to rank 4 from 6 with it so far. Lost to Handlock/Freeze Mage/Oil Rogue.
79% win rate atm.

With all the 1/2 cost spells and things to modify costs downwards I'm going to give it a shot but with Gazlowe slotted in, seems like it would be nice for some extra steam and quite a few triggers.

Flamewaker deck is fun. Replaced Emp with a Sunwalker for more Duplicate/Echo shenanigans and switched a Frostbolt for a Counterspell. There's literally nothing as satisfying as eating a Flamestrike with a Counterspell, hah hah. I choose death!

8-2 so far with Flamewaker deck. Lost a very close game to Face hunter and just got mauled by a Mech mage. Sometimes you just don't get what you need. Incredibly fun to use echo or duplicate to pull double Flamewakers. Even more fun to see them use removal of higher power creatures while I silently rejoice at keeping it for another turn.

Deck is a bit different from Ex-genj just because of card availability and experimentation. The Emperor is gone and not coming back though.
