I don't think anyone would disagree that it's getting harder for new players to make any headway, but I also think Blizzard knows, hence the spectator quest for a pack as a small start. Yes, it's not a huge impact, but it does up the average quest reward a bit.

Of course, I'd like to see a bit more done here, but I expect they are watching the player numbers very closely and despite what people like to claim, Blizzard probably do know what they are doing.

One of the things about Tavern Brawls is that you can challenge friends, so I'm hoping to see some fun tourneys once they drop.Kripp seems super stoked about it, especially since he just started doing Challengestone. I agree with him too, I thought the Challengestone format was really fun and Brawls should add another layer on top of it.

Definitely think kripp knew this was coming, challenge stone happened just a couple weeks after he went visit blizzard's Europe office. Hopefully the patch hits next week

Oh, come on, even you aren't daft enough to think this is something they just cooked up in a couple of weeks as a response to anything Kripp might have said. And with the amount of blubber he pours out that would probably mean that you believe he'll be the source for every new feature they want to include in the game from now on too.

Valeera is a Blood Elf and she is neither Horde or Alliance, although if you had to force her into one, it would actually be Alliance. I guess they could do 2 Neutral Rogues though. They probably will try to do Horde/Alliance of each class, as best they can.

What's so bad about Kripparrian? Sure, a lot of fluff, but he has some decent insight about arena once in a while.

Obviously you've never heard him commentate ever, or his crying every night that he can't play casual on the ladder.

The dude is on the same wave length as the people working on this game, completely retarded.

What really surprises me is Blizzard is known for competitive games. Starcraft is a fucking culture, and even as completely asinine as WoW arena was at least they had a tournament realm for it.

Why not build another Culture around this card game by getting people to compete in it. What better way to get people to come to tournaments, or host tournaments then give the populace the tools to run them inside the client, and a way for new players to get used to a standardized format so when they go to a tournament they can compete themselves.

Whatever, It's just money, money , money to them.

Hopefully someone comes out with something better in the next couple years, and overtakes Hearthstone because the game is a complete joke currently. I guarantee the better players will jump ship immediately. I can't imagine how bored they must be streaming this game every night with a smile on their face.
