Some guy added me to pour the salt on because I blade flurried his double mana wyrm, coin, unstable portal opening and then killed him 3 turns later with a second blade flurry. I keep a blade flurry against mage for such shenanigans and he complained I top decked two blade flurries, feels good.

Now every class can have the pally hero power!

Neither of those cards are examples of power creep. In fact, barely any of the stuff spoiled so far looks like it's going to fit into existing decks, which means people are going to have to create inspire themed decks and see if they're competitive with the existing metagame.

Perhaps I used the wrong term? I can see that Garrison fellow making a lot of other 2 drops far less used is what I mean.

I do wish they'd buff a few of the old cards. There's no good reason to not do it in a digital tcg.

Cool but unplayable. The problem with inspire in general is that you don't get enough immediate impact out of it, and it really takes time for it to be worth it. 6/3 stats for 6 mana just isn't playable in my opinion.

Why aren't they doing shit like "all hero powers cost two more", "your opponent cannot use their hero power next turn", "all hero powers are deactivated while this minion is in play", "hero powers have a chance to backfire and target the enemy hero". Could make that last one goblin shit or make it target any random thing on the board.

Nah I think you correctly used Power Creep, I just don't agree with you. I could see it being used in hunter as a late game KERPLOW when you get into topdeck mode. Mage has an arguably better class card, and I don't see any of the other classes having room.

We'll see how it does in new Inspire themed decks, but I don't see it making much of an impact in existing decks. Does seem like it has a lot of potential as a late game finisher in Hunter though. That's 8 damage straight to the face if you drop that at 10 mana.

They've spoiled what, 20 cards? If they get through half the set without anything that negatively affects hero powers, then I'll agree with you.

Being able to claw every turn would really help the agro matchup.

Don't think it would be good for most classes though.

I agree with you mostly he is a 6/3 easy to remove but will also trade with most turn 6 minions(aka emp) so he has that going for him. I could see him being played in a ramp druid dead, Innvervating him out on turn 3-4 and upgrading your hero ability seems like a good swing.

I know, but I'm already getting a vibe like every thing will be this sort of happy cute horseshit and nothing negative because that would hurt people's feelings or something.

They made Loatheb didn't they?

But you do have a point, I dont think there is a single anti-mech card in all of GvG.

Justicar might be playable in tournament versions of control warrior where you're expecting lots of control mirrors. double strength hero power would be a big deal.

It's not worth ramping that imo. Pretty much a worthless card at its current mana cost, and they can't make it too early game otherwise the power swing would be ridiculous even if the minion was something stupid like a 2/1

My favorite card so far is

Always been a big fan of Shaman they just haven't been that competitive.

Knowing Hearthstone they won't make any negative hero power cards unless they are super shitty like a manawraith for (1) hero power cost.

They want more tablet friendly minion combat.

I love Hearthstone but I don't think I could ever take it seriously.

Too bad it's just a static change instead of a scaling one, would be fun to build a casual deck based around copying/bouncing him repeatedly.

Oh, you know now that I think about it it reads like the change to your hero power is permanent regardless of him being in play. That might be worth it then. I was thinking it would revert when he dies, in which case he is down right terrible.

Still, he gets removed for 2 mana. But dropping that on Turn 6 has a lot of potential in some classes. Especially since the 6 slot is mediocre

Justicar Trueheart is a battlecry, so the effect will persist even after death? Dude, Control warrior just got happy happy

6 slot is mediocre?

Emporer Thaurissan and Sylvannus have something to say to you. Lets not talk about Highmane,Cabal Shadowpriest and sunwalker.

6 slot is packed even if you include just those two cards.
