lol. I'm totally testing living roots in a token druid, and I'm even running a single kodorider since I have him. The Kodorider could be anything, and there are probably better options, but I'm testing him since I have him. Aside from the occasional broken hand with innervate and power of the wild, I think piloted shredder is still better than violet teacher in token druid. May try swapping them back and forth to see.

I've been playing with a Dragon Mage, Dragon Priest and Dragon Warrior, I think I might have a dragon obsession.

I've been playing against a lot of Shaman since the expansion released. Like I said earlier: They got some love in the expansion but they still aren't in a great spot. Sometimes they get great draws and have perfect answers for everything you try and do against them. They actually have a ton of removal. But more often they tend to run out of steam and go into topdeck mode and simply fall apart. Their late game sucks so if you can outlast them they can't do anything to stop you.

One of their primary problems is card draw. Like I said, the key is to outlast them. They simply run out of steam. Removal is great and all and it's extremely annoying to have your first five minions removed. But once they run out of the removal and their hand is depleted they are easy wins. The other major problem is Overload. Playing Mage I LOVE when they coin out that Totem Golem. If I have a Flame Cannon or a Frost Bolt (which I mulligan hard for) they just forfeited their second turn and they lost their coin. Every time they Overload it's great for me because it really hinders their capabilities for the next turn.

1-0 with Column's paladin. Must be the best deck ever.

Edit: yeah, 3 shamans in a row and they've been lol worthy. Really fun deck to play.

Post xpac meta is shaking out all over the place. On top of all the tokens running around everywhere, I'm seriously thinking about bringing Black Knight back to answer all the Twilight Guardians.

The rate at which these Paladin decks can continuously flood the board is fucking awesome.

I just lost to the murloc knight token pally. First time I had seen it. Must have MOAR board clear.
Dude, fuck murlocs, when they are shitting out 6 silver hand dudes a turn, half 3/3 and half 2/2 you know shit is going down hill.

They don't usually run murloc lists from what I've seen so far. They just throw in the murloc knight for hero power synergy and it usually does pretty well. I've only seen one paladin actually trying a murloc list on ladder and it was terrible as expected.

Reynads Priest deck is strong. 4-1 atm, damn. Lovin it. Had to craft Chillmaw and 2x Twilights... didn't open a single one in the 106 packs I opened, fuckers.

Koyuki was running murloc knights in his token pally until I suggested he swap them out for regents. 3/3 for 3 is a much better deal than 3/4 for 4. Even if Murlocs are generally larger bodies, recruits benefit from quartermaster and warhorse trainer. If you can't take control of the board by turn 5 or so, you just get overwhelmed by tokens.

Tokens are still super weak to board clears though, so if you just want to win and aren't super concerned about testing new TGT stuff yet, ladder with some variation of handlock or use oil rogue with assassin's blade. You should do very well against tokens and dragon priest, which are all really popular atm.

Welp... had a funny game vs an Echo mage. He only played Giants and I just ignored them, he had secrets up and I didn't want to proc Effigy or something, I just kept taunting and buffing my dudes.

Eventually we get to turn 9 and I drop Ysera and after a turn or so he drops 3x molten 2x deathlord. I buff up a twilight welp with Velens and have Ysera's awakening. I get an Azure Drake on board too. Awakening does 7 to all and I have Nova for another 4 to all. Use Awakening --> Nova to clear his five 8 health minions... then he drops them all again (echo) and I get the same exact combo to clear them all again lmao... he concedes.

Man the ability of shaman and paladin to fill the board is insane. You need to have some serious board clear to deal them even though it's mostly small creature.

And the new paladin is the new face hunter, got 4 in a row, and 7 of 10.

Still it's a fun shake up of the meta for now.
