so decided to just make antonidas. If its terrible on ladder so be it

I opened Antonidas a few days ago, and he went straight into my mech mage deck. It's great to have a little end game finisher if your mechs didn't do the job in the first 7 turns.

Turn 8 is when I combo him with a stealth part. Good times.

Been playing freeze mage in between study breaks tonight, holy shit if it isn't the most fun I've ever had. Some games have been incredibly close, I've even died to draw damage when I still had ice block up and the kill on my turn, sadtimes. Am not regretting crafting the antonidas now. I think I really enjoy games where aggro is like "greetings greetings greetings" then half way through they sort of realise, "oh. wait. maybe im in trouble", then get absolutely slaughtered. One of my favourite wins tonight was on a hunter and I had 3 hp going into the turn and nothing up and manage to turn it into a win somehow

I do kind of regret sharding my harrison jones when i first started (my friend said he sucked) to make mukla for my weird druid hobogoblin/mill deck though, lol

Had a Paladin in Arena with 0 Truesilvers and 0 Consecrates and I still went to 8 wins. A few of those were thanks to Equality and Wailing soul lol. So I had a Paladin dominance quest so I threw together a mech tempo deck running x2 Equality and x2 Wailing Soul. It's been pretty fuckin' awesome. The combo of popping an Equality and then a Wailing Soul to clear the board and maintain a presence afterward is fab. I wonder if it could be perfected to potentially be a competitor. Equality + Consecrate is always going to be the best, but you still always leave your minions open with 1 health, unless you do it on an empty board, but then that isn't great for keeping up tempo presence. Love surprising freeze Mages as well, or even just mech Mages.

What's the thought on completing decks. My situation is, I have a good number of legs, although I would like sylvanas still, but the decks that I have the class legs, I'm missing multiple epics. I have grommash, but no brawl or shield slams. I have cenarius, but no ancient of wars. The decks where I have the epics I'm missing the class legs: voljin, jaraxus, tirion, antonidas. At about 1000 dust so could finish off the druid or save for a class leg. I guess my main question is, which class legs really aren't necessary to be competitive?

You don't have to run wars in Druid, I only run 1 in my ramp deck and it works fine. The lores are much more important.

Someone would have to play it for it to be abused. That card is absolutely terrible.
Yeah doesn't seem to get enough a bonus from buff spells, which are already not commonly played anyway and the cost versus power seems pretty shit until you put at least one buff on it which makes it alright, it only starts getting good once you put at least 2 buffs, which is a lot to have.

Compare to Questing Adventurer for example, which gets +1/+1 for every card you play, buffs, minions, targetted at it or other cards, and with a lower mana cost so it can be comboed in the same turn with more stuff. How often do you see Questing Adventurer played? Yeah, maybe back when Miracle was all the rage, but even back then people didn't play it much at all.

How do you know if we haven't seen the rest of the cards and what dragon decks will come out of the xpac?
The same way you knew it'd be good without having seen the other cards, you don't form your opinion based on the other cards since you don't know them. With the current knowledge, it's garbage other than gimmicky priest deck which probably still wouldn't use it over stormwind chargers so you can actually kill someone in one turn with all your spells.

Egg also looks pretty bad, but assuming the Whelps count as dragons, it might actually fit in a BRM new type deck.

Rend looks nice enough but require a dragon deck, and the stats are pretty garbage. The fact it can remove legendaries like Tyrion, Antonidas or the 4attack dragons(assuming they become relevant again due to dragon decks) over BGH is kinda nice. Especially interesting for a class with no good removal like Druid.

Rend is expensive for an 8/4 even with the (conditional!) battlecry. You get more stats out of a Yeti/BGH for the same mana cost. Yeah I guess if decks slow down a lot and ysera makes a comeback it'll have some value...

As mentioned, forget AoW, if you have Lores you are ready to roll. They are more important than Cenarius. Lacking brawl and especially shield slams makes warrior a no-go even though you have Grommash.

Out of the four class ones you named I'd rank them Tirion > Jaraxxus > Voljin > Antonio Dias. Somewhat depends what classes or even builds you want to play.

You can get by playing mage just fine without Antonio especially now that the tempo versions are so popular. Even for a mech deck you could ghetto in a Rag or something instead.

Tirion is absolutely essential to playing paladin unless you are doing el cheapo shockadin.

Jaraxxus is good but you can also just play zoo for your lock deck and not worry about it for now.

Vol'jin is pretty important but you could probably run a priest without and not everyone even enjoys playing priest so its personal preference where you rank him.
