hmmm, not exactly. Does "favorably" by your definition mean "win"? Is an even trade a favorable trade?
Favorable means "win" to me.

In a dedicated aggro murloc deck he is great of course, I wasn't even thinking about mid range... It synergizes with murloc knight a lot better too to spit out murlocs instead of silver hands.

Sucks that they keep splitting the murloc cards between Shaman and Paladin. That guy would have been awesome for Shaman Murloc.

And Cleric, which this card is easy draws for. And Trogg, which probably won't get killed by this card too easily. Voidwalker is pretty common too, not exactly a scary card to those dudes either.

Honestly, not bad, but probably useless as anything other than aggro shaman (and maybe not even that without crackle and lava shock) struggles to find relevance.

At worst it's a 5/5 for 5 but with a totem deck it could be 3 or 4 mana easily. Seems decent.

Edit: nm, read text wrong. it's really good I think unless it needs to be in hand when u summon totems.
The taunt is something Shaman really need and on a 5/5 body, without overload, it's good

Correct, that is how frost giant is worded and he doesn't have to be in hand. Also note it says when you summon a totem, not just hero power so golem, manatide, and flametongue would all also reduce cost. A sub 3 mana 5/5 taunt late game is pretty decent, could drop a serious threat and this.

Turn 3 -> Tuskarr Totemic (-1 mana cost to Thing)
Turn 4 -> Thing From Below (4 mana)

Not too shabby
