Just pissed in this over-confident mage's cheerios.
He just flamestrikes my board clean.
Turn 9 I'm at 16 health, he is at 2. I drop a twilight drake. He plays fireball and secret (ice block) and he spams sorry.
My turn I drop Farseer shaman and twilight drake. He pyroblasts me to like 2 hp and spams sorry.
My turn I drop Jaraxxus and weapon attack to pop his ice block.
His turn he fireball + frostbolt + secret (2nd ice block) and spams sorry more.
My turn I drop Alexstrasza targetting myself, autoattack his ice block off.
He concedes.

Suck it.

I love how Blizzard loves continuity enough that they designed the Hunter class in Hearthstone to attract the exact same kind of players as WoW and create more effective "Huntards". It's the ezmode class for the facepalm derp morons that can't think for themselves and are lazy. Fucking hate Hunters so much. Not even due to losses, but just the entire playstyle and the kinds of players that usually play them. I just picture a greasy little pimpley virgin that gets so overly excited whenever he drops another charge minion and just goes straight for the face, or particularly when he uses Deadly Shot and then says "Sorry about that". Happens so often. Lol.

LOL I love that. Sweet justice. Have had the same thing. The best is when they "sorry emote" leaving you at 1 life and no board, thinking they will just ping you next turn. Pop Alex for 14, and win next turn. RAGE.

I know it's Blizzard but that's a absolutely ridiculous timetable. By CCG standards theyalreadyshould have added more cards.
lol MTG released a couple hundred new cards today, have another few hundred at the printers and a hundreds more in design.

The players balance the game themselves with enough cards and cards which beat those cards with. We don't need daddy to hold our hand.

Is it weird I hate playing against bad decks? Sometimes they'll pull something stupid I wasn't expecting and the game ends up going long. I'm not ever in danger of actually losing, I just can't kill them with my control deck till I draw one of my win conditions. Happens at lower ranks so much.

No, it's not weird at all. Back during my mtg days, I absolutely hated the first round or two of a big tournament. At Kami-rav state championships back in 2007 or 8, I lost my first round matchup 0-2 against mono-red furnace burn of all fucking things, despite having maindecked lifegain. It was fucking unreal.

lol...

On a sidenote of my own - double sword of justice paladin Arena (amongst other goodies) - how much you want to bet it runs poorly even though it's got multiple pieces of solid gold with my recent luck.

Only miss on the best cards was Consecration =/

And...0-2 so far, first two opponents both shaman different people and somehow had identical plays/cards (+/-1 turn on each play, totems varied)... intriguing.

Hah, seen some similar cases happen against me, but none that ridiculous, that was nuts.

The fact that he did it in arena is even more hilarious
The cases I've noted were arena.

After that terrible start had two great decks I faced - Warrior and Priest - both got me low but I pulled it out. Surprised how great my pairings are (besides the shaman duo - those decks were running garbage, just drew perfect... and identically)

2-2 now, and taking a break for errands.

I think you are way too biased into seeing patterns that probably don't exist. Weren't you the one that was convinced your opponents were playing a constructed deck in arena before?

It is time to take off the tinfoil hat.

I wasn't convinced they were, but the cards were identical in that case - was making notes of all 19 cards I saw of his match, besides 3 copies of Warsong Commander everything else matched the OTK warrior minus Legendaries at the time. (Including 2x Molten Giant) Being only 11 cards off from "the deck" of the time in Arena is pretty alarming, even if it was legit [not impossible, non-Legendary version was largely commons remember] it shows a problem with how wide the RNG can be. [Note my quote back then was "felt like it was constructed" I didn't elicit that it was...]

In this case, I'm more confused why the two picked the same "shitty under normal consideration" cards more than their plays being identical honestly - the identical plays all made perfect sense and most of the shared cards were common - but how many people run Wisp and Frostwolf Guard and Raid Leader in Arena....

It's just bizarre seeing something like that, much less it running perfectly with similar awfulness working twice in a row. Just down on myself when I get a good draft though - seems my sloppy decks all 8+ these days and my amazing ones scrub out somehow, it's odd. Heck look at this run so far - 2-2, first two were "bad decks" that ran perfectly, next two were "great decks" that ran well and I tromped them - just feels weird getting owned by Wisps and Frostwolfs...

Fortunately I get bad picks offered more often than not.
