I don't give a crap about the rarity distribution, it happens in mtg too. Someone opens a mythic bomb that wins any game it's played (Elspeth) all the time. Nothing you can do about it except try to have a consistent deck and beat them before they cast it or when they don't draw it in time.
What I do care about, and maybe I just don't have enough game knowledge yet, is how '50/50' a lot of decisions seem to be. I'll try to play around certain cards, but to do so often makes you weak against a different strategy. So, it feels like a guessing game much of the time. For example, holding back a creature against a mage on turn 6, in case they have flamestrike. Then, instead of flamestriking they polymorph your big guy and put out a taunter that you can't deal with next turn because your minions can't attack since you didn't put em out the previous turn. If I try to play around that, then I'll get blown out by flamestrike.
My latest arena runs, had one 7 win, then a 2 win, then a 6 win. I felt all 3 decks were similar strength and curve, but just seemed to get my bad matchups all in a row on the 2 win run. Meanwhile, I'll watch Trump do 9-12 win runs all the time, so I know I still have room to improve. But, even he gets 0-3'd sometimes.
