It also still has something of a place in control warrior if they drop something like cairne, rag, or ysera on an empty board. I dropped it out of that deck though. Not worth hoping they play something strong on an empty board for how often it is going to be a dead card.

So while I was debating whether or not to turn my Pagle into a Grommash, I realized I should just turn him into a Leeroy. Maybe should have crafted him instead of Pagle in the first place.

Is this beta game going to wipe our 'accomplishments'? I mean, will it reboot and go gold at some point? Any point in wasting time with it now is what I'm asking.

The game officially 'released' yesterday, so I'd guess it's a safe bet they won't be wiping anything.

Still playing Tink in control Warrior. Works fantastic. Brawl, oh the good thing lived? Tink. Between selective removal of everything else, removal of everything but one target, etc., it has been pretty stellar. And the 3 health makes it harder to kill as a body on the board. Has been a good card in almost every match I played today and I'm halfway into rank 5 now. Trying to rack up those wins for the golden portrait.

Ok I can't deal with this anymore. What's the best deck to beat hunter? I don't care what other matchups are like, I just never want to lose to this bullshit again.

I used about half of my dust to craft Lord Jaraxxus and the 2nd Mountain Giant I was missing and put together a HandLock deck. Very happy with the results so far.

I can see how Tink would be useful in Control Warrior decks (like with Brawl and mentioned above) but, overall, I'd rather have the dust and just craft him again if he (or Pagle) becomes viable again.

Generally speaking, you need either multiple taunts or the ability to outrace the hunter.

When I say multiple taunts, I you can't just rely on Sunfury and Argus taunts, because that generates an extra hound. I've seen UTH + hunters mark blitz right through a double molten argus play as if it weren't even there. Problem is, things like Shieldmasta and Sunwalker aren't super great in the control matchup. You also have to learn how to play around misdirect.

Personally I just like warrior aggro. I can either outrace him, or start armoring up and play control.

The ultimate druid #3 deck hereStarting Stone #5: Druidis a mid-range druid deck that matches up favorably against hunter. Can't say you'll never lose to hunter again, but it requires a poor starting hand for you and a good starting hand for your opponent. If you're really tired of hunters and only want to ensure you don't lose to them you could replace cenarius and the black knight with silverback gorillas.

Man it feels so dirty using Leeroy AGAINST a hunter. huehuehue

Warrior aggro may have fallen out of popularity in favor of Reynad's Zoo deck, but I think it still has the juice to win games, and with some tweaks could be competitive against the current meta. Probably need some kind of answer for handlock though.

Man I am fucking terrible at this game, and get opponents with a much better arsenal than what I have (just started today). Need to watch some videos I guess..

Funny you should mention that. I'm LOVING Handlock right now and I just won against Warrior Aggro. Having a Molten Giant and Ancient Watcher as taunts pretty much shuts them down. He managed to kill both but it cost him everything he had and my 2nd Molten smashed his face in good.

Unless you put money into the game, you're going to suck pretty hard at the game for a solid month or so as you learn the ins and outs. If you do put money into the game, you're still going to suck for awhile. As they say, it's "deceptively simple" but there's a lot of complexity. Watching videos and streams helps but that will never replace experience. For example, learning what to mulligan and what not is a skill that only comes with time. And even today I still go through a learning curve each time I build a new deck to learn what works and what doesn't in an opening hand.

With that being said, don't let me discourage you. It's a fun game but it is NOT a friendly game for the true newbie. Stick with it and it's a lot of fun but it's going to be frustrating until you get some decent cards and some good experience to let you use those cards effectively.

For instance, right now I am fighting a shaman that has 5 totems and two other cards (one being a taunt), not far into the round. My cards just suck in comparison, especially with people that have cards that heals all their minions, do damage to all of mine, or let them have special abilities that I don't see coming from a mile away. It's frustrating as shit, but I am in it for the free mount, and although I have been raging in front of my monitor, something about this game wants me to keep going, to improve. I have won ONE game in like 15, and if I need to buy card packs, well then I might have to do it.

Yeah unfortunately I'm pretty sure the best answer aggro warrior has against handlock is to switch to hunter. Nothing quite like hunters mark for pissing all over giants and twilight drakes.

Have you played other card games? I'm sure a lot of people who enjoy it here are used to familiar concepts such as card advantage, board control, tempo, etc. Just taking the time to read a few articles and look at featured decks will probably help a lot in your success and development.

I only started a week ago and haven't spent a single penny, but I do alright for the cards I have since I have a little experience with Magic: The Gathering.

Also start with mage, or maybe priest. By far the best heroes when you have a limited card selection.
