Reynad is definitely good at the game, I can't deny that, but I have to disagree with that assessment on Warlock Hero Power.

Since decks are capped at 30 cards the Hero Power does not become stronger.
Naxx is introducing cards that will benefit Zoo, but is also introducing cards that are going to be counters or at least very big nuisances for Zoo.
Zoo will likely remain viable in some form, but with enough problem cards to deal with it could just as easily become bad or transform into something that hardly resembles the original Zoo deck.
I tend to believe that basically any Warlock deck that is designed around churning out efficient cards quickly will be labeled as a Zoo deck.

Hes saying as the cards become better all the cards you draw will become more and more op, and that is why locks draw power becomes progressively more powerful.

Has nothing to do with the size of the deck.

Confirmed 2nd heroic boss falls easly to zoo, Im flying thorugh this shit.

So first boss counter is handlock by far.
second boss falls to zoo

Am I gonna have to spend RL money on this game in order to enjoy it, or is it relatively easy to play for free?

I'm considering putting it on my laptop as a time-killer between classes.

Freeze mage worked fine against Anub'rekhan too.

Maexxna is fucking retarded, gonna have to build a deck just for her I guess. Maybe I'll try freeze mage again.

It depends on what you want out of the game and how fast really, so it's hard to answer.

I haven't spent anything and have played for a couple of months maybe (fresh account, I played on a different one in beta), but I also can't make any and all decks since I don't have any legendary cards and very few epic ones. I'm not in any rush though and I have a couple of solid decks that I play in ranked when the corresponding quests come up, for the rest I just throw something together and play in casual.

So I'm enjoying the game for 30 minutes to an hour at a time, but again, it depends on how impatient you are about filling your collection and how seriously you want to play in ranked mode.

Nah, if its just something you want to do casually it is really easy to play without spending any rl money. The only time you might have to spend rl money is if you want to compete at the high end competitively NOW or if you play a LOT of arena every day and are terrible at it. You build up 800-1000 gold really easily on a new account and arena cost 150g each and you have a chance to win your gold back and then some, so if you're losing a lot on each arena you MAY have/want to buy an arena entry, but playing at a casual pace it'll take about a month to get to that point. Also you get access to this new mini-expansion first wing for free this month, so that is more free content.

Got it. It's not something I'm interested in doing competitively at all. I have a 4 hour gap between classes twice a week that isn't worth going home during, so this would be a good timekiller when I don't have actual class stuff to do.

The game truly is Free To Play. If you pay cash, you skip a lot of the grind but you can play and have fun without spending a dime. In fact, a lot of the fun is opening packs and seeing your collection grow and getting excited when you see a solid card you didn't have before. In your case, I think you'll have fun without dropping cash but expect to lose a lot of games for every win you manage (especially at first when your collection is still growing).

Beat Maexxna with a warrior battlecry deck. Was kinda tight, but the Voodoos + Mad bombers, and Archers gave me enough time.

I'd say a 1-3 hours a day is how long you'd spend going FTP only. Do the daily quests for 40 or 60 gold, then do arena runs every 2-3 days once you get 150 gold. You can grind out ranked games (and get 10 gold per 3 wins), but you probably won't have a good time as a FTPer since you'll eventually go against tighter and tighter decks. With arena, at least everyone's on an even level.

Ok heres my decks , heroics are super easy, just follow them in order.

The last boss is super simple. He will send your cards back every time so just play 2 heals, then 2 charge cards, then 2 heal cards till you get to the point where you charge lethal him
You can take Alex and anything else that isn't a charge or a heal out of the deck. Really it doesn't matter imo, just keep the heals charges, and humility peacekeeper. Also never use your hero power.

Can't believe Streamers are having such a problem with this shit, I figured it out in seconds
