I decided a while ago just to stick with the default card back no matter what.

Still, a little challenge is fun but I'm not sure there's enough of that here to be entertaining. Can't see shelling out $20 for the rest of Naxx and honestly, I'm more thinking that I'm done with HS for the foreseeable future. It's fun I suppose but just not deep enough.

More like they are trying to give hearthstone a more "pay as you go" player mode. I think they'll do whatever they think will bring in the most money, which is why they chose to first put out this single player adventure thing with 4 wings rather than just put out a new expansion. They probably figure people might be apprehensive to throw down another 20-50 dollars on packs, but shit $20 for this new content in 3 easy payments of 6.99 and all the kingtards will be chomping at the bit.

So while no one really knows I don't believe they will be doing something like this every time and I do believe there will be traditional expansions, but honestly I don't think anyone knows for sure at the moment, maybe/probably not even blizzard, it may depend on naxxramus sales.

Ya nobody really know their plans and a lot of it probably hinges on how well Naxx does. I do feel like Naxx may have implemented some behind the scenes ground work that we may not know about to make future things a bit easier to implement but then again what does that matter, this is blizzard, be lucky if you get something new once a year from them.

Using sweepers against Zoo feels so awful right now. The haunted creeper is a serious card people.

I haven't done a whole lot of ladder since the patch, but priest seems to shut down zoo fairly consistently.

Tempo rogue seems to be pretty good against the new zoo as well (was really good against the old zoo) since it doesn't depend on sweepers nearly as much as board control. Plus having a 4 mana 5/5 with upside helps it out in the other matchups so far.

Shaman is tearing people up in ranked for me right now. Nerubian Egg just makes rockbiter and flametongue even more ridiculous. Plenty of decent early game vs zoo with lightning storm and feral spirit, enough burst to race miracle to the finish with lava burst and lightning/rockbiter. I suspect druid will be a problem, but haven't seen one all day yet.

What ladder level are you guys at?

I'm in the 5-7 range (depending on good/bad streaks), but there is just too much zoo out now for coldlight rogue. Thinking of giving priest a run, but I need to first get over the idea that laddering with priest is always bad.

Is warrior a reasonable deck currently? I'm not concerned about being super super competitive, just want to have a reasonable shot at having close matches against most things.

Yes, Warriors are in a pretty good position--the top end decks require a lot of expensive cards, but the F2P warrior has been done and is fun to play.
