It sounds like he was bounced for missing events.

What Reynad wants right now is to grow his brand and that means he wants people who make content. He wants his site to be the premier Hearthstone site on the internet and you don't get that by sponsoring some dudes that just play well.

Is Tempo Storm's website content better than the crap they post on youtube? A few 10-15 min videos of single games per week is pretty meh in my book.

MC tech is so weird in that he's a legitimate threat in arena, but you'll never see him in constructed. I definitely play around him and keep only 3 minions on board unless I'm trying to push for lethal.

By never see him in constructed, do you mean see him quite frequently in constructed?

I mean it's only recently that people have started playing him, and I think ramp druid is the only deck where he's pretty standard, but people have been squeezing him into all sorts of random midrange/control decks lately.

I imagine it's a fad that will die out, probably when dr boom gets nerfed.

Most druid decks, some priest decks. Probably others. I see MC Tech a lot.

Edit: I should say druid players and priest players, not decks.

I have seen in MCT in about half of all Druids I've run into the last week. Druids make up around 15% of my match ups. I've also seen it in fatigue Mage (freezes+Deathlords often result in a pretty big board), Handlock, grinder Mage, and Priest. So maybe one match-up in ten right now on ladder I see an MCT. That is pretty often for a card that saw near zero play. And yeah, it is Boom that led to it being played more, because 4 minions on board is now a very common occurrence at least once per game.

Alright, I just unstable portaled a Gaz'rillah with a mage and murdered everything. That was mildly entertaining.

I've seen MC Tech in Ranked enough to know to play around it now. It's a meta card and with Dr. Boom plopping 3 minions on the board, he can get a lot of value.

The meta will adapt to him being included and people will play around him in the future but I've lost a couple of games where I didn't think about him and he came down to steal a key card like Sylvanus. Now when playing against a midrange or control style deck, I keep in mind that he could be played against me.
