What is the biggest difference from making the jump from QM to HL?

It's not really that different than QM from what I've seen in my limited games played. No one touches the leper guys like murky though.

The biggest thing I've seen from streams/Reddit etc is that if you are queueing for Hero League you should be able to play all roles and own Heroes you are comfortable playing in all roles. Obviously most people are idiots so if you have Heroes that aren't considered top tier you might take some shit but as long as you picking into a needed role shouldn't be an issue. Of course, I'm sure we will still see toxic people regardless.
The key to ranked play is don't swear the assholes and find something in every game that you did better. Don't let idiots ruin your game.
I salvaged my 1-5 HL start to a respectable 6-6.......finding some idiots like to try a new hero in there. That pisses me off...

This game doesn't want me to play assassins. If I pick an assassin, I always get stuck on a 3 assassin 2 specialist team, or 4 assassin 1 specialist team, it's just ridiculous.
I've been having a bunch of decent games with Q farm Azmo. I've won 3x more than I've lost. I picked up Hammer to play and Hammer is really great but only if you have a decent team around you. Azmo can kind of carry a game.
Hm I'd argue at the moment Hammer is possibly the most OP hero in the game and possibly the most carry since if you get to 20 with her it is virtually game over for the other team.

The build is disgusting once everything comes online. Prior to 10 you are pretty much worthless though.

I like hover mode too much but the more i think about it, virtually doubling your range with nexus frenzy on top of it after 15 seconds is pretty insane

I've played around with both and I do sometimes take hover depending upon how the game is going. Hover is better if your team is retarded or the fights are tending to be more skirmish based. But if you know a fight is going to occur somewhere and even better you can lure the other team into the fight grad is better. *In general* I take grad if my team is even or ahead and hover if my team is behind. Generally the team which is ahead can dictate when and where fights occur due to map control and if you have to attack into a fight grad range doesn't buy you much.
Someone went the above build in a competitive game I was watching and with full spectator client zoom-out it barely managed to fit in the entire range of Hammer with full grad range up. You simply could not walk anywhere and not get shelled for 500+ auto attacks.

You bought nerfed Thrall. Should have enjoyed the OP-train while it was still in the station.
Yeah that's what I was playing. You do need a decent team around you though to get there though.
The healing on his trait and his lightning damage both got nerfed as well but weren't documented
No they didn't say they would be reverted, they said they would "monitor" him. His win rate has plummeted pretty good I see but they'll probably just consider him balanced now.
I don't see a compelling reason to play Thrall over Illidan in the current patch. Even last patch Illidan seemed like the better melee assassin than Thrall. Outside of his ults Thrall just doesn't bring anything to the table for team fights.
