yeah. I watched the movie originally. then watch s1 and half of 2 I think. and then went to google to read up on the plot. and.. lol? I dunno. maybe somehow the books didn't make that shit sound completely retarded. but I find that hard to believe.

Does it get worse? It's got some really awesome CS Lewis Chronicles of Narnia (at least it's like the Narnia books, I've never seen the movies) vibes as far as the content of the moral allegory being presented. That's my favorite aspect of the story, the metaphorical stuff that's going on.

The person who wrote the books is one of the biggest religion-hating atheists of all time. The books are over 25 years old at this point.

Anyway, I wanted some fantasy inspiration for something I'm working on, so I started watching this because it's easier than reading the books. It is neither good nor bad.
