Be careful not to hit it full blast on power washerScrubbed the fuck out of one (covered) deck i have with cleaner and hit it with the power washer. But, these black spots and areas didn't come up. Think I should clean/powerwash again or hit it with that sander?

no, mines a sensi also c wire required,So had nest installed. My old 1994 air handler doesnt have a C wire which is for continuous power. Nest says this isn't necessary, instead it taps hot or cold lines doing some to get battery power.
Well now my ac doesn't really work. I mean it kinda works but i def can't get it below 80. If i go wake the nest up it turns on and air handler kicks in.
Has anyone installed a nest thermo with no c wire?
Ordered one of these guys hoping it'll be my saving grave before having to go back to mercury. I don't see a terminal on the handler for C so this is only option I think..

How can I add a "C" wire to my thermostat?
So, the spiffy new wi-fi thermostats want power on the C wire from thermostat, but the old thermostat doesn't have a C wire at it. What's the easiest way to add the C wire/24 volt to the thermostatdiy.stackexchange.com
your furnace/ac looks old, does it even work? Thanks! Should have time to fool around with AC this weekend. Clearing the house out to have terrazzo restored next week.
1994 my man. AC guy that came out to service it was surprised it worked so well..... It literally can frosts the windows up in florida heat. Obviously it's probably not the most efficient.. We'll see how long it last... Nfc how they'll get a new air handler in the attic when the time comes.your furnace/ac looks old, does it even work?
did he offer ac duct cleaning? you could probably get by, by buying a cheap furnace filter, use it for now and using a leafblower and blow in the return ducts, the cheap filter will catch the dust bunnies, and you can also get a long rod brush cleaner.1994 my man. my house was made the same year, but i got a new furnance/ac included as purchase, but there was a ton of dust inside the ducts, prob never been cleaned.
run the cat5 before noon...Nah he didn't. This is like a 988 sqr foot cabin built in 1960. He seemed to think everything was in great shape and judging by how damn cold that mercury thermostat was keeping it I didn't question him.Attic is a fucking bitch to work in. I dread every time I have to work up there, so damn tight. Need to run cat5e up there tomorrow
.
House honestly has never been fully lived in since being built in 1960s. I'd say after the 1980s it was probably rarely used, if not sooner.
Cat5e unifi tough cable. Shouldn't melt. Cat5e more economicalWon't your cat5 melt up there?
And why not cat6?
