Reading your tea leaves wrong there in the chart. SPY literally tapped the 20D EMA to the penny. It will take a bit to break through it. (If at all today)

No one cares about those except news outlets. They always “narrowly avoid” shutdowns. And when they do shut down, no one gives a fuck about that either. They narrowly avoid them because they don’t want people to notice how fucking useless they are when nothing changes during actual shut downs.
