Doubles taper rate. And increase to 3 rate hikes 2022 vs 2 previous.

Added 2x my JPM position for my long term account. (Banks prosper in higher rate environments)

If Janet Powell opened an OnlyFans account I would subscribe to throw him money out of gratitude.

Sure raising interest rates is whats needed to be done to get the economy back on track but from a portfolio perspective unless youre all in on bank stocks raising interest rates is going to hurt, especially tech which is all high growth.
It's not healthy for the Economy to be growing and interest rates be at 0% still.

Nothing about our economy is remotely healthy.

I believe this is a pretty appropriate metaphor for the current economic situation;

Considering adding to CLF in this dip...

It's a volatile stock, but I bought into it at near this level before and it seemed like a good buy then. Only thing I'm hesitant about is if the market in general is on the precipice of taking an enormous crap, so it's better to keep it in cash.

I almost didnt pull the trigger to get back in to UNH a while back when it dipped under $400. So glad I bit the bullet.

How are the piles of cash sitting on the sidelines waiting for the crash doing boys? In Janet Powell we trust.

Side note for you travel longs. UK is absolutely exploding in Omicron cases. We just blew past the highest daily cases since the entire start of the pandemic and projections are doubling cases every 2 days. Fully expect futher measures of restrictions. This will be the US in some weeks time, as it always tends to lag. Compound this with far more lax masking and lack of vaccines, it could really overwhelm.

Remember, prices on these move with emotion and sentiment. It's not looking pretty here in my opinion.
