I do trades like this when I want the market to drop, it's more of an FU to SPY. A buy I want to lose money on, it's a hedge against my conviction being wrong.

before anyone mentions my market order, I had a limit order for 456.1 since yesterday but was feeling yesterday's low was going to stick here so fired the market. I can take the chance 35c higher.
In the same trade plan as Blazin though in that I have size for buying lower. I basically pyramid into moves like this. Small first, double position second, then quad at very specific levels. (150 shares, 300 shares, 600 shares, etc). I can not stress enough the importance of identifying critical levels for making these trades. It is the safer way to scale into size in a weak market like this.
