Oh I get it, no doubt. It is likely being take as a harbinger of the slowdown economically. If one of the best positioned companies out there is making cuts on staff, doesn't bode well for the pleb companies. Markets are taking this as it should.

You mean you don’t get to be one of the best positioned companies by sitting on your ass and assuming you’re going to stay on top? Hmm

What happened to the market was forward looking? Shouldn't this not matter?

Does that only apply for when they ignore good news?

Nope. This is forward looking. Markets see the AAPL announcement and instant react to the realization that the forward is still getting shitty.

LOL, gamestop is still at $147. they got a split coming up though. I guess its too "unaffordable" for the average WSB basement dweller

Yeah, AMC is still way up too. It's fucking sad that had I just held for another couple months I would've probably done quite well. But that shit they pulled with shutting down trading made me want to dump as soon as I could.

And then I rode the money I had leftover from that into the ground with PLTR.

What the heck happened today? Everyone figuring the Fed is backing down?
Earnings for big tech are possibly not going to be as bad as feared.

This is "90% of your fears never come true" season I think.

Netflix lost a million subs from jacking up the price, saw earnings beat estimate by neutering spending and using stranger things as a list ditch effort to get subs for this quarter.

Liquidity in the market is scarce with huge negative gamma.

Crude oil and Treasury yields still going up. Every move is going to be a big one.

Let's take a look under the hood.
Inflation around 10%
A proxy war between the US, EU and Russia 4 months old and counting.
Fed balance sheet is insanely high.
Supply chains still all screwed up.
Partisan divide in the country at an all-time high.
Oil over $100 a barrel.
Russia and China making googoo eyes.

So we have a pretty big list of fucked up negative market externalities.

So far like 80% of companies who have reported have beat earnings. Even with all the shit I listed above.

Maybe we priced in more earnings doom than we are getting. Maybe we have priced in a 4% interest rate and we only top out at 3.75%

Or.... Maybe we drop another 20%. Who knows.

My homemade indicator seems to be paying off, with three-ish tests in as many months.

But, it would seem the QQQ is now heading back to the moon?

So have some stock about to vest. Should I pay the taxes with cash or let them take stocks to cover it?
