It hasnt really been discussed but the WHO "officially" declared the Covid pandemic over. Whatever we may think of the 'rona, this is one more headwind removed from markets.

MP earnings. Revenue decreased 42% year-over-year, driven by a 32% decrease in the realized price of rare earth oxide ("REO") in concentrate as well as a 13% decline in sales volumes.

Pricing shows a market cap of $3.5b for roughly $225m in adjusted EBITDA. About a 15.5 multiple.

They're up 4%~ on the news and the volume is low for an earnings day, I see them giving up all these gains and continuing the down trend.

Yeah I was looking at the option chain on them. I really like the idea of a US mining company and its sort of shocking they are turning a profit considering everyone before them at that site went bankrupt. If they get their PE sub-10 I might consider grabbing a long position again. A dip under $15 and I will get interested.

Yeah, that 15.5 multiple seems wild to me for mining. And anything in general in this climate honestly.

Bank stocks :emoji_thumbsdown:

Now lets see the report of how many of those banks did not properly hedge interest rates on their long bonds and MBSs. We are going to find the root cause of these failures of Mgt refusing to hedge against interest rate hikes properly so as to "maximize profits" and not spend money on hedging.

It's baffling too, because none of these hikes should've been surprising. Just plain old greed?
