As someone who works for a company who is balls+ deep into SFDC, and came from a small company where I was the cursed soul who had to be the SFDC admin and deployment lead I can tell you. If it can do mediocre without requiring multiple FTEs to care and feed for it, then it's a better deal than SFDC.
There's a massive ecosystem of CRM tools out there just saying. Mid range, enterprise, and everything inbetween. Monday is just another competitor and I agree the market for it is quite saturated.

Just as an example. Here's one you've never heard of that pulls in hundreds of millions in revenue a year. In the same space as SFDC. Deltek Vision | ERP Software for Professional Services Firms

Imagine the odds of being this consistently wrong and it being just "incompetence".

Meanwhile it appears that entire businesses are being run by 16 year olds everywhere you go around here...

Awesome. I’m glad that selling gfx cards at unreasonable prices has worked out so well for them and the stockholders.
The price of the thing is what people will pay for the thing. Unless you've got a problem with markets, comrade.

Nah, it’s a free market and I can’t control what people buy. Just disappointed so many people are paying that much for them.
