STO NVDA $110P 2/7 expiry

Owning NVDA at $108.50 and being able to write calls seems like a solid play! Didn't want to buy this early but $108.50 is solid IMO, assuming this Deepseek isn't as big as a deal as expected.

NVDA still at lows of the day here. Careful making bets at this level.
Risky right here, we are at the 200d fails here and could hurt. I'm taking risk on it because I'm otherwise completely risk off at the moment.

My max loss I'd normally tolerate on this position is $5k and they have me at $3.4k and I don't want to be put in a situation where I want to break a rule. I already feel it that I'm going to want to give it more room than that.

FYI:
deepseek-r1:14b runs blazing fast locally on an RTX 4080.
deepseek-r1:32b will run, but significantly slower due to VRAM limitations. It should run fine on a 4090, as it's 19GB.
A 5090 would run deepseek-r1:32b quite quickly, due to having double the VRAM. It may be able to run 70b but much slower.

dammit NVDA, they'll never get me to sell on a day like this but going to force me into exit position mode on a bounce. Going to have to ponder on this one a bit. Just hit -4700

Sanrith Descartes Sanrith Descartes told you patience was needed why didn't I listen to myself :)

Computers aren't made of magic. It's possible to understand what they are doing and how they are communicating. This is a job that many people do all day! A model download is a series of statistical weights, not an executable file. A big mathematical map of how words (technically tokens) relate to each other to produce a feed-forward output for an autocomplete algorithm. Considering thousands of engineers on are inspecting and deploying these OSS models across various disciplines in various environments, the odds of some kind of secret side-channel leakage going undetected is absurdly low.

Besides, China is already reading your texts straight from the tap (literally the tap) from VZ and ATT so...

Looking for a pullback higher low, then expect another battle at the 200D. Looking fine so far.

Sounds like a cool field these computer things you're talking about, I hope you get a chance to upgrade careers from making sure Janet's VM and call forward is set up correctly, to work in it.
