super ghey of me to report a trade after the fact but wasn't at my desk much today and been rather hectic.
This is an earnings play for next week. rustles my jimmies taking a long play up here at 200 on GOOGL as I already have sizable exposure in my LT portfolio , however what I'm looking for here is a short spike up and I would dump. These big round numbers can be quite the battle for big stocks like this and if they can break away from that barrier they can really move fast. See AMZN's battle with 200, apple battle with 200. I'm going long dated enough to give myself some room to avoid the complete wipe out if it doesn't happen.
What could bone me is a spike that occurs in the AH that I can't exit the option. Earnings are on 2/4.
Also, if it runs enough today I may just take the $1k and be done with it rather than bigger risk waiting for $5k

Small win for the bulls on NVDA to close at the high of the day. Underperformed badly on a good market day. Broadcom the other company that declined near 20% was up 4.5% today. This rally attempt will be my last on this setup, will sell and reassess if it fails.
I can still see the setup for us to rally tomorrow all the way to $132, like everything it's a probability just believe that window isn't closed but is closing. We are past the three day rule so even women who manage money (lol) can now feel safe to enter a long here so we might see some investment money flow back in. With some 1.4B shares traded the people who wanted out are out at this point, but there will be another cohort of get me out people if we break $117 again.

They havent had a market disrupting product in 10+ years since Jobs died. Tim Cook has no vision like Jobs did which is what you need to maintain growth, he's just a supply chain min/maxxer

The M series chips are legitimately insane. They offer a ton of power and memory in a single package. This will have a lot of implications if edge AI becomes a bigger deal.

I'm sure they are but they go into same uninspired, regurgitated products that people now see as an overpriced commodity, not a market disrupting status symbol.

It's because there are so many finance talking heads telling people "don't worry he won't actually do it" The markets reaction tells you that they didn't take it seriously. Even this move is just a "maybe" we need to worry about this. We'll get a correction if this all gets into full swing. It can happen rather quickly that trump just announces "we have a deal"
