This is like my Facebook holdings. Bought at $38 after the IPO in my wife’s little IRA from an old job. I think she had like $2200 in there? I just used it all. She doesn’t even know about it. Will be fun in 20 years to show her assuming it maintains like this.

There was a guy on the bb forums who would always advocating for PLTR. He literally spent years spamming the thread saying to buy it. I don't think anyone cared because everyone was focused on stocks that had much better performance. I'm pretty sure many people were laughing at him (myself included) because while it did get up to the $40s or before interest rate hikes, it crashed pretty hard after that leaving everyone holding some pretty costly bags.

Last I remember, that guy had his entire portfolio in the damn thing all the way at $8 or something, and never sold a share. Dude must be happy as fuck now. Once you see that kind of return, I imagine that it's a stock you hold for life.

Pimps have taken a big hit in recent years, actually. It's just not the profession it used to be.

I was off a bit, bought September 6 2013 for 43.94 a share. Current gain is 1,508%.

Trimmed 2k Plntr shares down to 1300 today. Felt like about the right amount to trim. Going to just shove the money into an index on a the next kinda big down day. My largest holding is still amazon and holding on for dear life as earnings come out tomorrow or thursday.

Fidelity prompt to participate in an IPO in Sailpoint, anyone have interaction with them in their business? Other than being a security company don't know anything about them.

OK. Sailpoint is a company in the "emerging" area of identity and data access based security. It's where a lot of security is evolving towards. They have a decent breadth of product line, but in this day and age it would not surprise me at all to see them consumed by one of the bigger security players to bolster their Identity offerings (GOOG security, Maybe MSFT, lesser chance of a player like PANW or CRWD).

What they really solve for is the next abstraction layer up. Real information security within an org is always one simple rule "Let our people and organization get it's work done profitably while preventing bad things from happening to us". ALL Cybersecurity is really just abstraction layers below that, all the way down to "control packets on the network". Sailpoint is at some of the higher tiers that exist right now. I haven't had a chance to get hands on with their products yet, but I have heard pretty good things about their theory and concepts. How well the realize those theories is always the place where the proverbial devil is in the details.

My girlfriend bought some Meta at the first of the year. I'm afraid to ask why but apparently it's going well for the year so far.

Ah, I remember those lofty olden days when they actually had "Don't be evil" in the corporate mission statement...
lol my message was supposed to say "Bullish" but said "Bullshit" instead.

Freud might've been onto something.

Sold my nvidia $123 2/7s for $5.60. Bought them for last week and rode them from 5 to 2 to 7 to 1.40 then closed for 5.60. Definitely played it sloppy but held through the volatility for profit on pure luck. I think I’ve seen blazon in and out 3 or 4 times over the same frame.

I finished +4,764.59 on NVDA overall through this bullshittery. So could be worse but was quite the headache. Don't think I'm done with it. Next up we enter the gap then earnings

Lotso overhead resistance between $130 and $134. Since the plunge it hasn't demonstrated any superman-like ability to just break through resistance and fly. I expect lots of chop unless some other non-NVDA event pops up to boost the market or tech. I see myself sitting it out on the extra shares I bought during the DeepSeek cataclysm.

I would expect some challenge to get higher here on first attempt. We have three levels in play The low of the range the high of the range and the 200d. $129, $123, $116 would be the three crucial points and it feels like we are too far from earnings on the 26th for this to not resolve before then. That gap at $143 seems like a big ask right now.

It's possible the overall market scuttles a lot of things right now. We are at the point of rejection since the election. It's almost too perfect but if we reject tomorrow, maybe off of NFP, will have a very clean downward resistance line off the low marking the third rejection since 1/24

Similar set up but even more bearish for QQQ

IWM failure at a key level today (again)

I'm just noting the table is set for this to fall apart. Jysin Jysin maybe can chime in with what he's seeing but the SPY and QQQ look like distribution to me.
