Really bummed I couldnt take advantage of that opening dip. The $35 strike 12/18 puts were selling at $2.65 premium at that opening crash and are now up to 0.80 cents.

I've been selling weekly puts on AMD, made about 1% a week on them so far, but the premiums have been slowly creeping down. I bought some NVDA at 515 just before their earnings, was hoping to see better results since their earnings but highest they've gone so far is 545, so not entirely terrible.

GMHI trying to claw back to neutral for the day

7+ million shares traded. It may not get back to even, but I think the selling was overstated. if it closes around here I will call it a win. Now that the merge has been approved I expect the WSB crowd to move on to other game and the volume and volatility to drop.

I recently got rid of them after being a customer for 15 years. They screwed up their recovery attempts for me and by the time they got back to me with "50 percent off" I had already discovered Sling TV.

BYE direct TV.

I sold my shares of PLTR at $28 on the way down...not bad for buying them at $10 or whatever. I’m sure long term it’ll go higher but ehh. I saw a profit and got out.

So as more folks are toying with options, one of the many variables we need to understand is the time decay on the time value portion of the option. As I said before it isnt linear. It accelerates as the expiry gets closer. Look at this chart as the rate of decay goes from 9 months out to expiry day.

Here is a link to a basic article on time decay and the time value of options.

Not sure what else can be expected with the volatility as it is . . .

Boom and bust every day.

In bullshit names of companies with no earnings, and selling at 40x+ Sales. It's fine just never thought this would turn into a thread I just scroll past
