As far as this company goes...just take my money. Too bad we probably won't be able to invest in them for a bit, given they're years away from mass-production. It's one to keep tabs on for sure.

Kind of shitting myself while sitting on hold with TD Ameritrade. Logged in this morning and it says my entire account value is:

No idea WTF is going on.

Activity and Positions window in TOS says "OVERALL P/L YTD: +$18k (green)"

Logged into TD Ameritrade website and checked deposits and transfers, nothing out of the ordinary.

Am I missing something obvious? Been using this account as a swing account since December and never seen anything like this.

Sometimes Fidelity will show me with no positions or balances. Its rare but it dies happen. Probably just a glitch or maintenance gone bad.

edit: this is also one of the dozen reasons I track everything I do in my portfolios in Excel. I can always track any type of discrepancy.

Yea, I upload the day's trade statement into TraderVue for the same reason. I see a green trading day yesterday.

Even manually line by line checked filled / executed orders yesterday and they all look good.

Just got off the phone. They seem to think it is a system glitch. One of their brokers parsed my trades and all is good there. They've no idea why the account is displaying red. No transfers of cash in or out. They say it should be resolved by trading Tuesday. (Monday is a holiday)

God damn trying to give me a weekend heart attack! Fuck.

That’s a serious glitch that could cause suicide. They need to get that shit fixed. Imagine if that was millions.

Errors like that do happen. Why its probably best to just walk away and wait it out. Compared to most people in the world, we're lucky to be able to save anything at all. Money isn't the destination, but the path. I'm happy with what I've managed to win, but if it all went poof tomorrow, I'd just have to change my plans and move on.

I've been buying AMZN off and on since 2013 and have a considerable amount (for me) in them now. Every single year there is a deluge of articles out there about why Amazon will never split. That might change with a new CEO but I doubt it. Old Bezos is notorious for being the absolute worst kind of micro-managing asshole boss conceivable. They won't shift unless his perspective for some reason changes down the line. Or he dies.

They really need to be added to the Dow and may be the thing that triggers it as obviously that can’t happen without at minimum 10:1 split

It is hard to look at the Dow and not see both WMT and AMZN representing that sector.

FYI:

Social media has some chatter right now about pumping up UWMC for a short squeeze. Very unlikely of course, BUT, I think at $9 a share this isn’t a bad stock at all to begin with, especially considering their 822 percent positive earnings report. Could be worth a flip this week if it actually pans out. Even if they only blow it up to $13-14 a share or something.

I own zero shares but have some $12.5 calls expiring this week.
