I missed the part in Terminator where Skynet was able to fund itself off of AMC
"transitory"
"transitory"
Say a pound of ground beef was $3, and it goes up to $4.50/lb in 2021...and then stays at $4.50/lb, that's "transitory." It's not somehow better. It just means it's not increasing that much every year. So uh, great?
yes it is. Not going to argue semantics but the for purposes of the relevant discussion that is exactly what the Fed means by "transitory". They certainly have no expectations of prices reverting lower, they expect the rate of inflation to revert lower. How can you not know this? That's not transitory.
Though I don't agree with them that this is just short term.

You are plenty smart enough to follow along. Transitory means not permanent. They didn't call the price increases transitory they called the higher inflation rate transitory.Hey it's not my fault the Fed makes up their own definitions for words!
I wasn't saying "Hey Gravel, learn what that word means". I was saying "Yea, transitory, convenient for the Fed because they are using that word incorrectly and by that logic technically all Inflation is transitory"
I was agreeing with him but didn't qualify properly
