Not a competitor. Runs way too hot and power hungry.Anybody else liking Intel at <50 with Alder Lake imminent? I feel like it might finally be a competitor, but I don't like their pricing on the 12900.
Sure, that's how Intel has been "competing" for a while now - just jack up the processor speed to the moon. I'm more thinking of the 12600 or the rumored 12400 for the "low-end" markets. I think their days of competing for the "high-end" markets are over for the foreseeable future. I just see them as undervalued at $48 on the heels of what seems like one of their "best" releases since probably the 8xxx series. Not a competitor. Runs way too hot and power hungry.
iirc they just revised revenue lower this earnings which is why they got kicked in the balls. Reality is Intel is in a shit situation until 2023 at the earliest as their nodes are garbage and AMD(TSMC) is killing it. The only reason AMD hasnt taken even more market share from Intel is because AMD is supply constrained from TSMC.Sure, that's how Intel has been "competing" for a while now - just jack up the processor speed to the moon. There are 53 EV's on the way from other manufacturers. Ford and GM are light years ahead in terms of quality and reliability. If you are buying an EV, would you want to be with a company that will make a vehicle that will last, or TSLA that is pretty much dead last in the industry right now? And you have way more service options, they have GM and Ford dealers on every street corner.
I wonder, does anyone think that a year from now, TSLA stock will be higher? The Ford Mustang EV is stealing sales from TSLA 1:1.
I've been called worse. Especially in the Coronachan thread.Racist

Work divided is what enables the very work specialization that drives enormous productivity. This division was to some degree shattered beginning in 2020.www.forbes.com
I'm pretty sure we discussed this very thing in this very thread about 15 months ago.tl;dr When you mess w workers and thereby production for 12 months, you fuck up the global economy.
