Market doens't like uncertaintity. Not to get political but on top of the uncertaintity we've had the last couple of years we have another layer added on now.

There is likely an over compensation happening in this thread where people "dont want to get political".

Its 2022, everything is political. Esp when politics is pumping trillions, then cutting off trillions, etc etc etc.

Ate a hell of a loss (% wise) on SPXU, sold most of it, and now its roaring up.

Should have DCA'd instead of buying most of my position at 18-20, would have likely held it all if I had gone that route.

Swapped my FXAIX with a conservative strategy, since the change takes effect at 4 pm, Ill probably loss a ton of $$. Once the market stabilizes ill swap them back.

Why realize a loss? If you are convinced this is temporary ("once the market stabilizes I'll swap it back") just ride out the chop. Selling at lows only to buy back later is just... bad.

if I sell today, and wait for the market to hit 30k, then buy back in ill be at a gain.

Basically I don't think this Ukrainian situation is going to resolve anytime soon, and it may drag the market further down.

It's a long march down.

We'll probably get a few green days, but I doubt this is over.

I still think we see a 25-35% fall from the top (S&P in the low 3000's) before we start recovering. If the Fed decides to bail again, we may see a smaller decline but eventually this shit needs to course correct; all that does is make it bigger when it finally does come.
