I have said this before. GOOGL at $2700 is a pretty quality entry price considering the 20:1 split coming and you want to own it for a decade or two. Why buy the AFRM's of the world when you can buy blue chips on sale.

We don't hold 4430 at the close then it is far more likely we are going to retest the lows next week. So low 4200 range, not to be too scary but that fails and we'd be at 3800 pretty quick and the entire post election rally will be whipped out. None of this would be particularly out of the ordinary for a correction period but that knowledge doesn't make it feel any less painful. I wouldn't overly panic about 4200 failing at this point. Just take it a step at a time. This week has been a great example of just how fast and strongly market sentiment can swing back and forth.

Oof. I shorted CLSK at 9.65 and paped handed when it came back up. It is now currently at 8.65. Personally I am thinking it may end up in the 7s next week which would've made this a nice play.
Any fellow traders / investors have off days or weeks? Last month I managed a cool 15% in realized gains but this month is a sputter. I guess on the bright side I'm not burning money?

Yeah why you have to adapt to changes, the chart showed some promise of finding a base at 180-190 when that failed was a strong signal to get out. I took a sucky loss selling $180 but obviously feel a hell of a lot better about it at $115

Looking for silver lining hints in this decline, IWM is outperforming this may be a signal that things may not completely fall apart. On the bad side we do have some breakdown of credit, not too alarming yet but moving in the wrong direction.
Market could end up in an odd position where it starts fearing economic slow down and rate hikes though logically they are unlikely to both occur, as economic weakness would be read by the Fed as an excuse to hold off on hikes.
