Ugh my CU... they finally updated their savings account rates... .48% APY. I don't float enough money to care that much but still agitates me that they want 18 month CD to get the rates I could get in regular savings accounts. I think I'm about done with them. What does everyone use for trading, banking and otherwise?

Currently I use M1 for investing and I've thought about jumping more over to M1, but their high yield savings accounts are still invite only.

What good out there?

Fidelity is a good option. Just letting cash sit in their money market fund right now is 4.97%, and you can immediately move it from there to your bank account, a trade, etc.

One thing to keep in mind is that rate is not FDIC insured. The FDIC insured rate is about half of that.

I've tried to steer clear of Amex for no particular reason. Just don't have any cards.

Man M1 is looking really good. 5% APY if you're a plus member (plus other benefits on trading and their CC).

Good derail.

Wasn't sure what we were earning, or if our settlement fund at Vanguard even earned anything. Pleasantly surprised that it's in VMFXX which is at 5.28% annual. Which is good since I'll be liquidating an entire year's worth of expenses in the next 3 months and it'll sit there most of the year.
