It used to be movies were released in the U.S. and then trickled out to the rest of the world. But more and more movies are doing the oppositeI am still a bit confused by the decision to release this wide internationally more than a week before releasing in North America. I suppose it was done to try and offset piracy with the belief that the American Consumer would rather wait and see it in glorious digitally projected splendor, but it still feels weird to see the world discussing an American picture that I can't go down the street and watch.
