He was actually a welcome addition to the NFL thread (back when I followed it more). He openly liked the Bears but had a sense of humor about it and I don't really remember him fagging that thread up at all. It was nice to have a Bears fan in there imo, just for the sake of variety and not always having to talk about the Pats, Steelers, Cowboys, and Giants.

Ara, come back and take your medicine like a man.

When Joshua Goldberg wasn't posing as an Islamic radical, he was pretending to be a white supremacist-and is accused of impersonating a Jewish lawyer.

Goldberg had several online personas: an Islamic radical who was popular in ISIS social media; a white supremacist on hate site Daily Stormer; a radical free-speech advocate on Q&A site Ask.fm; and a blog. Goldberg is also accused of being behind a Times of Israel blog post that called Palestinians "subhuman."

Goldberg's trolling turned serious when he was arrested Thursday by the FBI on the grounds that he told a would-be terrorist how to build a bomb meant for a 9/11 attacks anniversary event in Kansas City, Missouri.

So I doubt it's as much Putin per se as it is what "Putin" represents. I doubt Ara really gives a fuck about Vladimir one way or the other.

Which is why adding Putin into the avatar pisses him off so much, and why it was such a devious jibe and use of the bet. I mean I get it... but 2 weeks of sporting that and it would have been over. Sometimes you just gotta go along to get along and you can't take things THAT personally.

What I found hilarious (and sad) was that a lot of what Araysar threw out there wasn't even revolutionary or blindly pro-Russian to begin with, yet a lot of people reacted like it was the 1960s again. That entire thread was less about Araysar and Russia and more about Western ignorance and stereotypes.
