Im starting to get scared. Not doing early screenings makes me think the movie is going to be mediocre.

Seeing them together brings back a lot of memories. The Matrix was maybe the only movie I ever saw that blew me away, sadly it was followed by a cash grab and tainted

This followup is difficult - and in many ways its like the Matrix.

Both first movies introduce you to a interesting and secret world - a hero you feel in touch with and does badass things. You are given snippets and leading trails about the world and its mythos as it fairly well wraps up the "intro plot" into your characters - viewers are hooked hard, or not - little mid ground.

Followups have often a hard time... people WANT answers but they really DONT - the mystery and question and the ability to use the snippets given in your mind to construct the rest for yourself is the hook - sequels will kill your minds eye no matter what - its how much they do it and to what level. Matrix by answering but 'not' everything really killed itself, that and zion sex rave. Let us hope JW2 keeps enough trails of mystery going to keep the hook in- yet gives us substance that's satisfying.

If its a BOSS 429 its a 1969 or 70 - the 70 has slits on the outside in replacement of the outside lights.... there is no BOSS 429 in 68 - there is the cobra and stuff 429's and even those are 68 1/2's - they started having the quad lights but none of the pre or post 69's grill lights are as big as the 69's - 69 they are about the same grill and outer - all others the grills are smaller, or square/rectangle...

1969 Mustang is simply my absolute favorite muscle car period - I would love one, even a normal coupe - they just look every bit like what to me a perfect muscle car is- I found a 05 modded to look like a 69, it was siiick.

I mis-typed 68. I meant 69. The guy asks John Wick if it's a 70, and he corrects him saying it's a 69.

Exactly. It's the mystery and the allure of the unknown that make great stories. Like the Wheel of Time, everyone was hyped for this awesome, final battle in the last book but once we got it, it did not live up to our expectations. I suspect it never could have. No one could write a climax that would be better than what we could imagine in our minds.

I also think this is why Game of Thrones is so enticing. There are so many mysteries. Is the Hound dead? Will he ever fight his brother? Will Arya get revenge? Who is Azor Ahai? Will the White Walkers destroy the Seven Kingdoms? I just hope that when we do get answers to these epic questions they will be worth it, but I suspect the want for something is more enjoyable than the delivery.

God forbid we get something like the Star Wars prequels. Lead us on with tales of clone wars and the noble warrior that was Anakin Skywalker, and then deliver a CGI over the chinos rub and tug that gives us blue balls.

Thinking about watching 50 shades darker before going into this. It should greatly increase the desire to see things killed.
