If they pull off showing him as a more vulnerable person and almost justified in his madness, gather sympathy for his situation and then just let it go and let the joker be the joker until everyone is feeling very, very disgusted with ever having felt any sympathy for this maniac... this might be great.

If the casting being reported is correct there is no adult batman in the movie. Which makes sense since there is noone playing batman since Affleck bailed. I still haven't seen the Batfleck movies.

I’m not too ashamed to admit that the teaser trailer makes me want to see this. When the first set photos leaked I thought DC was gonna DC, but I’m sold on the traditional clown makeup now. It seems to fit the progression of his descent into madness.
